Ravi's wife was walking toward their house.
As she got closer, she suddenly noticed that several police officers were still standing around the house.
She immediately stopped and became nervous.
Didn't they believe me? she thought, her heart beginning to race.
She quickly took out her phone and called Ravi.
After a few rings, Ravi answered.
"Hello? Where are you?"
"Hello? Where are you?"
Ravi sounded confused. Without thinking much, he answered recklessly,
"Why do you want to know? What happened?"
His wife looked toward the police.
"The police came to our house looking for you."
Ravi was shocked.
"What?"
"Yes. They were asking about you and when you would come back."
Ravi became tense.
"What did you tell them?"
"I told them that you were out of town."
Ravi listened silently.
His wife continued,
"I thought they believed me. But why are the police searching for you? What stupid thing did you do again?"
Ravi's expression became serious.
"Just shut up and listen to me."
His wife became silent.
"I'm going to stay at my friend's house for a week. Don't call me, okay?"
She was surprised by his words.
"Ravi—"
Before she could say anything else, Ravi ended the call.
He stared at his phone for a moment.
Why are the police searching for me?
Suddenly, a thought crossed his mind.
He remembered Aanya.
His eyes widened.
Is it because of that girl?
Ravi started driving his auto away.
When he reached a traffic signal, a police officer suddenly noticed the auto number.
He looked at it carefully and immediately recognized it.
"That's Ravi's auto!"
He shouted to the other officers,
"We need to catch him!"
The police immediately started following Ravi.
A few moments later, Ravi heard the sound of a police siren.
He looked through the rear-view mirror and saw the police car behind him.
"Oh no! Where did they come from?"
Ravi started driving faster.
But the police car quickly overtook him and stopped in front of his auto.
Ravi suddenly pressed the brakes and stopped.
He looked at the police officers in fear.
He quickly got out of the auto and tried to run away.
But the officers caught him.
"Where do you think you're going?"
Ravi looked at them angrily.
One of the officers grabbed him.
"Now let's see how you're going to escape from us after we put you in jail."
Ravi immediately changed his expression and started acting innocent.
"Sir, please! No! Please tell me… what have I done?"
The officer looked at him suspiciously.
"If you don't know what you've done, then why were you running away from us?"
Ravi quickly came up with an excuse.
"Sir, I don't have a driving license. That's why I got scared when I saw the police."
One of the officers stared at him.
"Really?"
He stepped closer.
"So, you really don't know anything?"
Ravi shook his head.
"No, sir. I really don't know."
The officer smirked.
"No problem. We'll remind you."
His expression became serious.
"Because of you, a girl got into an accident and was admitted to the hospital. And now you're acting as if you know nothing?"
Ravi pretended to be confused.
"Sir, I really don't know anything."
Another officer spoke angrily.
"You and your wife are both very good actors. Your wife told us that you weren't even in this town."
He stepped closer.
"But we know the truth. You tried to force a girl into taking a different route, and because of you, she got into an accident. And now you're still acting innocent?"
Meanwhile, at the hospital, Aryan was sitting beside Aanya's bed when his phone suddenly buzzed.
He glanced at the screen and saw a message from one of the office employees.
"Sir, the auto driver has been caught."
Aryan's expression immediately changed. Relief flashed across his face.
He quickly stood up and walked out of the hospital room. Once he was outside, he took out his phone and called the officer.
The officer answered the call.
"Sir, my team just messaged me that they caught the auto driver. So, without wasting any time, I informed you."
"Where is he now?" Aryan asked.
"Sir, the team is bringing him to the police station."
"Okay. I'll come to the police station as soon as possible," Aryan said before ending the call.
Meanwhile Ravi suddenly realized that there was no way he could talk his way out of the situation.
He looked around.
Then, suddenly, Ravi grabbed the officer's gun and pointed it at them.
The officers were shocked.
"Ravi! What are you doing?"
Ravi stepped backward, keeping the gun pointed at them.
"Go back! Otherwise, I'll shoot you all!"
One of the officers tried to reason with him.
"Ravi, you can't do anything. Surrender yourself."
The officer slowly tried to move forward.
Ravi immediately pointed the gun directly at him.
"Go back! Go back! Otherwise, I'll shoot you!"
The officer stopped and slowly stepped back.
Ravi quickly got into the police car.
He started the engine and drove away.
The officers immediately contacted another police team.
"Sir! Ravi has taken our police car and escaped!"
They quickly explained everything that had happened.
Meanwhile, At the Hospital
Aryan was sitting inside Aanya's hospital room when his phone suddenly rang.
He looked at the screen and immediately stepped outside before answering.
"Hello?"
The police officer urgently told him everything.
"Sir, Ravi escaped. He took one of our police cars and fled."
Aryan's expression became extremely serious.
"What?"
The officer explained the entire incident.
Aryan ended the call and immediately contacted his men.
"Find Ravi."
He quickly told them Ravi's last known location.
"Don't let him escape."
"Yes, sir."
Aryan ended the call.
He looked back toward Aanya's room for a moment.
Then, without wasting any more time, he left the hospital as well.
He was determined to find Ravi himself.
Meanwhile
Aryan drove toward the location the police had given him.
As he got closer, he suddenly noticed a police car speeding down the road.
He immediately accelerated and started following the police car.
After a few moments, Aryan's car moved alongside it.
He looked through the window.
He saw his face.
Ravi also noticed Aryan.
He looked at him with confusion.
Who is this guy?
Before Ravi could think any further, Aryan accelerated and moved ahead of him.
He suddenly turned his car and stopped it across the road, blocking Ravi's path.
Ravi's eyes widened.
"What is this guy doing?"
He immediately turned the steering wheel to avoid hitting Aryan's car.
But he lost control of the vehicle.
The police car swerved off the road and crashed into a tree.
Aryan immediately got out of his car and ran toward it.
He saw Ravi injured inside the vehicle.
Aryan pulled the door open and dragged Ravi out.
Ravi barely had time to react before Aryan grabbed him and started beating him.
"Who are you?"
Ravi tried to protect himself.
"Stop beating me!"
Aryan continued hitting him.
"How…"
He punched him.
"Dare…"
Another punch.
"You…"
He grabbed Ravi by his collar.
"Try…"
He pushed him back.
"To…"
He stared at him furiously.
"Touch my wife!"
Ravi was terrified.
"Sir, please! Stop beating me! I didn't do anything! Your wife herself got into an accident. Please leave me!"
Aryan's anger only grew.
"What did you think? That I would leave you?"
He grabbed Ravi again.
"Never."
Aryan was about to hit him again when the police officers arrived and rushed toward them.
"Sir, please!"
One officer stepped between them.
"We'll deal with him. Please calm down, sir."
Aryan stopped but continued glaring at Ravi.
The officer then spoke carefully.
"Sir, ma'am needs to come and confirm his face."
Aryan's expression hardened.
"She can't come. You know that, right?"
"Yes, sir. I understand," the officer replied. "But we need her to confirm whether he is the same person or not."
Aryan fell silent.
He knew the officer was right.
The officer then spoke carefully.
"Yes, sir. I understand," the officer replied. "But we need her to confirm whether he is the same person or not. There's no need to hurry, though. He'll remain in custody until ma'am is able to confirm his identity. After that, we can proceed with the case and take it to court."
Aryan didn't say anything.
He simply looked at Ravi before stepping back.
Meanwhile
Back at the place where Kunal was being held, Aryan's men received a phone call.
One of them answered.
"Yes, sir."
After listening for a moment, he ended the call.
He looked at the others.
"Aryan sir called. He informed us that the police have found the auto driver."
Before anyone else could react, Kunal suddenly spoke.
"What? They found him?"
Everyone turned toward Kunal.
Kunal immediately looked relieved.
"Thank God! He finally got caught!"
He smiled.
"Now I can be free. Guys, please remove these ropes."
One of the men looked at him coldly.
"Who told you that you're free?"
Kunal's smile disappeared.
He looked at the man in confusion.
"What?"
The man continued,
"You're not free until Aryan sir tells us to release you."
Kunal frowned.
"But he got caught, right? Didn't Aryan tell you to set me free?"
The man shook his head.
"No."
Kunal's face fell.
"Oh…"
He looked down at the ropes in disappointment.
So I'm still stuck here.
---
That night, Aryan was at home, trying to sleep.
But suddenly, he had a nightmare.
He saw Aanya's accident happening again.
"Aanya!"
Aryan suddenly woke up, breathing heavily.
He looked around the room, trying to calm himself down.
Then he looked at the time.
12:30 a.m.
Without wasting another moment, Aryan got out of bed, washed his face, and immediately left the house.
He started driving toward the hospital.
At the Hospital
After reaching the hospital, Aryan quickly went to Aanya's room.
He quietly opened the door.
He saw Aanya sleeping peacefully, while Radha was also asleep beside her.
Aryan slowly walked toward Aanya.
He sat beside her and gently held her hand.
After some time, Radha suddenly woke up.
She was surprised to see Aryan sitting there.
"Aryan babu? When did you come?"
Aryan looked at her.
"It's been more than an hour, aunty."
Radha looked at him with concern.
"What was the need for you to come here so late at night? You could have at least gotten some sleep."
Aryan shook his head.
"No, aunty. I'm not able to sleep at home."
He looked at Aanya.
"I keep thinking about Aanya."
Radha listened silently.
Aryan continued,
"When she got into the accident, I felt like… I had left this world for a moment."
He paused, trying to find the right words.
"I don't even know why, but I really felt that way."
Radha looked at him sympathetically.
She tried to comfort him.
"Aryan babu, she's fine now. You don't have to worry so much."
Aryan nodded slightly.
Then he looked at Radha.
"Aunty, you can sleep for some time. I'll stay awake."
Radha hesitated but eventually nodded.
"Okay."
She lay down and went back to sleep.
The Next Morning
The next morning, Radha woke up.
She was surprised to see Aryan still sitting in the same position beside Aanya, holding her hand.
She looked at him.
"Aryan babu, you should go home and take some rest. It's already morning."
Aryan looked at the time.
Radha continued,
"Please go. You've hardly slept at all."
Aryan nodded.
"Okay, aunty."
He gently let go of Aanya's hand and left the room.
At Home
Meanwhile, back at home, Devika knocked on Aryan's bedroom door while holding a cup of coffee.
"Aryan… Aryan?"
There was no response.
She opened the door and saw that he wasn't there.
Devika looked around the room.
"Prerna!"
Prerna came over.
"What happened, Mom?"
"Do you know where Aryan is?"
Prerna looked confused.
"How would I know? Isn't he at home?"
Devika shook her head.
"No."
Just then, they heard the main door opening.
Aryan walked inside.
Devika looked at him in surprise.
"Aryan? This early? Where did you go?"
Aryan was about to answer when Nandini suddenly walked over.
"What happened?"
Everyone looked at her.
Nandini looked at Devika.
"You were shouting, 'Aryan, Aryan.' Is everything okay?"
Devika quickly replied,
"No, sister-in-law. Nothing happened. Aryan just wasn't in his room."
Aryan looked at his mother.
"Mom, I'll go to my room."
Devika nodded.
"Okay, beta."
Aryan went upstairs.
Nandini looked at Devika.
"Where did he go?"
"To the hospital."
Nandini rolled her eyes.
"Aanya's mother was already there. Even then, he went to the hospital?"
Later
Later, Tara, Meera, and Nisha visited Aanya at the hospital.
Tara immediately looked at her apologetically.
"I'm sorry, Aanya. I didn't know you had decided not to tell your parents."
Aanya smiled.
"No, it's fine. It's not your fault."
Nisha sat beside her.
"We're feeling really low at college without you."
Aanya smiled at them.
Meera then asked,
"Well, Aanya, how did this happen? I mean, Tara told us that you both were waiting for the cab."
Aanya then told them everything that had happened.
Tara immediately looked guilty.
"I'm so sorry, Aanya. If I had waited until the cab arrived, none of this would have happened."
Aanya quickly shook her head.
"Tara, it's not your fault."
Meera then asked,
"Did you file a police complaint? Where is that idiot? And what about Kunal?"
Aanya replied,
"Well… we haven't filed a police complaint yet."
Nisha looked surprised.
"But why?"
Before Aanya could answer, Tara suddenly realized something.
"Wait… now I understand why Aryan called me and asked where we had gone shopping and everything."
Aanya looked at her in shock.
"What? Mr. Aryan called you?"
Tara nodded.
"Yeah. He called me."
She then looked around.
"By the way, where is he? Didn't he stay here with you last night?"
Aanya shook her head.
"No. Mom stayed with me. Mr. Aryan was at home."
At that moment, Radha entered the room.
Suddenly, the girls stopped talking.
She looked at them.
"Why did you girls suddenly stop talking after I came?"
Meera quickly replied,
"No, aunty, it's not like that. We were just asking where Aryan is."
Radha smiled.
"He's at home now. But he stayed here with Aanya all night."
Aanya looked at her in confusion.
"What?"
Nisha immediately spoke.
"But aunty, Aanya told us that Aryan was at home last night."
Radha shook her head.
"He came here again to check on Aanya. He told me he couldn't sleep at home because he was thinking only about Aanya."
Aanya's eyes widened slightly.
Her friends looked at each other.
Then all three of them teased her together.
"Ooooooh…"
Aanya immediately became embarrassed.
She lowered her gaze.
Mr. Aryan was thinking about me?
