------------------------------------------

Long ago, there was a group of rowdy warriors feared across every sea lane — the Warrior-Giant Pirates. Their two overwhelmingly strong captains were known far and wide as Brogy the Red Ogre and Dorry the Blue Ogre.

Mere humans could do nothing but watch in helpless awe as these towering giants brought chaos wherever they roamed. Harbors collapsed under their footsteps, mighty Sea Kings were hauled up like sardines, and entire fleets turned tail at the sight of their banners.

Yet, in the end, the ones who halted these rampaging titans were not heroes, not armies… but a single little human girl.

It happened on a bustling human island. The Warrior-Giant Pirates had docked, and the town was alive with music, laughter, and the scent of roasted meat. Giant barrels of sake were being drained as quickly as they were rolled out, and the air was heavy with the rowdy energy of a crew celebrating a triumphant hunt.

"Did you see our captains' catch today!?" one giant roared, downing a barrel in one gulp.

Another giant threw his arm over a crewmate's shoulder. "You bet! I'll never forget a catch that big for as long as I live!"

The rest erupted into booming laughter.

"Each of our captains took down one of those monstrously huge Sea Kings!"

"Even for giants of Elbaf, beasts like that are no easy feat—"

"—and yet, for our captains, it's just another day! Isn't that right, my brothers!?"

Not far from the chaos, the two captains themselves sat on the docks, their legs dangling over the waves like children's, each drinking from an enormous horn cup.

"Gabababababa! I gotta say, in all my years, I've never seen Sea Kings that big!" Brogy declared, foam clinging to his beard.

"You said it! They were our finest catch yet!" Dorry replied, slamming his horn cup down hard enough to make the dock groan.

Watching them from nearby was a small human girl in a white dress. Her eyes sparkled with curiosity as she approached, each step measured and careful beneath their towering presence.

When she finally spoke, her voice was small, but steady.

"So… which one was bigger?"

Both giants froze mid-drink. Their gazes shifted to her, then to each other.

"Which—"

"—one…?" they muttered in unison, narrowing their eyes.

"Brogy, look! Mine is clearly the bigger one!" Dorry jabbed a massive finger toward his catch.

"Hah! Hogwash! My catch is exactly three centimetres bigger!" Brogy snapped back instantly.

"What did you say!?"

"What!?"

Their foreheads collided with a deafening clang, sending ripples across the water.

"Captains, please! Stop arguing!" their crew tried to intervene, but it was already too late.

From that single innocent question, a century-long duel began — a battle not for treasure, glory, or pride, but for the title of 'bigger catch.'

PRESENT DAY — LITTLE GARDEN

Deep in the ancient forest, the ground trembled under the force of distant impacts. Birds scattered in panic. Massive trees shuddered, their leaves raining down like green snow.

Roger and his crew wove their way through the undergrowth, pushing aside roots as thick as ship masts.

"Well, it looks like they're at it again," Gaban said, brushing stray leaves from his shoulders.

"It's them all right," Roger replied, his grin widening. "Come on. Let's watch."

Rayleigh, Gaban, Crocus, and Robert kept close behind. Soon, the forest gave way to a wide clearing — and there they were.

Dorry and Brogy, titans of Elbaf, locked in battle.

Dorry's colossal sword swept down in a shining arc, meeting Brogy's broad-bladed axe with an ear-splitting CLANG. Each clash sent visible ripples through the air, the shockwaves cracking earth and bending trees.

THOOM!

A cliffside crumbled.

THOOM!

A grove of ancient trees toppled.

Wildlife fled in terror, scattering past the human spectators.

"Gabababababa! You've gotten slower, Dorry!" Brogy taunted, catching another strike on his shield.

"Hah! And you've gotten fatter, Brogy!" Dorry shot back, blocking a retaliatory axe swing with his own shield.

Their weapons ground together, neither yielding an inch, but both grinning like boys in a schoolyard brawl.

"Don't you long for our home, Dorry?" Brogy asked suddenly.

"That's exactly why I'll crush you today and sail back to Elbaf at once!" Dorry roared.

With a mighty shove, he broke the lock and lunged, his sword thrusting straight for Brogy's chest. The bearded giant rolled aside, slamming his shield into Dorry's face. The blow sent Dorry staggering back, blood spraying in a glob the size of a bucket.

"Gabababa! That woke you up, didn't it!?" Brogy bellowed.

"Not nearly enough, you bearded buffoon!" Dorry answered, charging again.

The island seemed to quake under their renewed clash. Even Roger's crew had to steady themselves as the ground heaved beneath their feet.

"This is madness…" Crocus muttered, shielding his eyes from the swirling dust.

For all their ferocity, the giants kept to an unspoken rule: no Haki. Both knew that if they unleashed it, Little Garden would have been nothing but a memory decades ago.

Stepping back in unison, they raised their weapons and charged once more. The collision came with a BOOOOM that split the clouds overhead, sending their weapons flying high into the air before crashing into distant peaks.

Only their shields remained.

"DORRY—!"

"BROGY—!"

They charged again, ramming their shields into each other's faces with such force that both were sent sprawling to the ground.

Flat on their backs, they lay there for a long moment, breathing hard. Then came the laughter.

"GEGYAGYAGYAGYA—!"

"GABABABABABA—!"

"6,496 fights—" Brogy said.

"—6,496 draws," Dorry finished.

They stayed there for a few more breaths before Dorry broke the silence.

"Hey, Brogy. Are we going to just lie here and ignore our spectators?"

Brogy's grin spread wide.

"Gabababababa… and here I was thinking you hadn't noticed!"

"As if. My Haki's still top-notch," Dorry scoffed, pushing himself up. His gaze swept the clearing, settling on the group of humans below.

"Well, I hope we didn't disappoint you all with the duel!?"

"Wahahahaha… still as lively as ever, eh, Dorry… Brogy!" Roger called back, stepping forward with his signature grin.

The two giants stared down in surprise.

"You… know us!?" Brogy asked.

Gaban took a step forward.

"Well, it's been twenty years since we last met."

Recognition dawned instantly. Their eyes scanned Gaban, then Rayleigh, and finally Roger — and the Straw Hat slung casually around his neck.

"Ahhhh… the little axe boy, and the Straw Hat boy and his first mate!!" they shouted together.

Roger's grin grew wider. Gaban's eye twitched.

"Gegyagyagyagya…"

"Gababababababa…"

Their laughter rolled like thunder over the island.

"Yes, yes… it's been far too long," Dorry said, studying the now-aged trio. "You've all grown rough and tough. And your Haki — even suppressed, I can feel it from here."

"To think you got this strong in just two decades…" Brogy sighed, his tone tinged with nostalgia. "It feels like yesterday that the axe boy stumbled onto this island."

Dorry nodded. "Yeah…"

Roger's grin turned sly. "So, what do you two say? I've got strong booze. How about celebrating our reunion like the old days?"

The giants exchanged a glance, then burst into roaring laughter.

"You say booze and we refuse? That doesn't sit right with us giants!"

And so, another party began. Bonfires blazed high enough to touch the treetops and roasts the size of houses turned slowly over the flames.

Crocus sat at the edge, watching the chaos with a sigh.

"They partied when me and Laboon joined the crew, and now this…"

Robert chuckled, clapping a hand on his shoulder. "You'll get used to it. This is just how we live."

As laughter filled the night and music danced with the firelight, Robert's gaze lingered on the faces around him — the crew, the giants, the unshakable bonds between them.

"Live with no regrets," he said quietly.
