Ezra's POV
In the next few minutes, I found both of them crying while hugging each other, and I felt like—am I the third wheel here?
"Calix, I'm sorry. I'm really sorry for leaving you," Ethan said while hiccuping.
They both started crying like babies.
And I also decided—it's all enough now. I'm not going to hope for any Alpha anymore. It's all just a delusion of mine. Just because no one ever treated me this way, I started to believe they loved me.
"Calix," I called his name, which made both of them break the hug and glance at me.
"I don't mean to interrupt your emotional moment, but I think I should leave now. You've already found your lover, so there's no reason for me to stay."
I said that because Calix has found his lover now, and if I stay, it'll just look like I'm a leech who wants to cling to him.
He quickly stood up after hearing me. Taking a few steps toward me, he was suddenly standing right in front of me.
