Ezra's POV
And the main reason I wasn't feeling embarrassed was because he was looking ahead instead of at my body.
"Ezra, can you give me a hug?"
I noticed he seemed sad, so without wasting a second, I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him into a hug while still on my knees.
"I'm so tired... I just want to rest now," he said, then suddenly fell silent.
I broke the hug and noticed he had already fallen asleep. This must've been really tiring for him—waiting for someone when you don't even know if they'll ever come back.
"Momo!" I called his name and asked for help.
He quickly called the guards, and they took Calix away and helped change his clothes.
A while later, we were both in the room. I glanced around as he was still asleep.
Should I run away? This would be the perfect opportunity. But even if I did, I don't know where I am or how far the palace is from here. I can't take that risk. That's why I got down from the bed and started walking around.
