Ezra's POV
[Unknown: Come meet me in the garden right now. I am waiting for you, Snow]
I didn't understand who it was. Wait, don't tell me this letter is meant for someone else and that servant has given it to me by mistake.
Yes, that's what must have happened, 'cause here no one knows me enough to write a letter calling me to the garden when it's not even that much time since I come into the ball.
I glanced around to see if anyone was looking desperate or nervous, but I couldn't tell any emotions from anyone's face.
I just stood there, and within 10 minutes, that servant came to me again and handed me that letter quietly.
"Hey, I think you're mistaken. This letter is not for me. Go find the real owner of this letter and give it to them," I said while giving the letter back to the servant.
But he gave it back to me. "No, I'm not mistaken. This letter is for Ezra, the only human present here—and that's you, right?"
