Seeing more than half of his Shadow Clones vanish in an instant, Naruto raised a thumb in approval.
This was the first time his Multiple Shadow Clone Jutsu had taken such heavy losses in a single exchange.
Neji didn't respond. He simply drew the bowstring again.
His Byakugan locked onto Naruto's true body, and he loosed.
Spiral Arrow!
A Yin Release Arrow spun forward, crossing dozens of meters in a heartbeat and appearing right in front of Naruto.
"Violent: Leaf Hurricane Strong Whirlwind!"
Naruto reacted quickly, driving a kick into the Spiral Arrow and knocking it aside.
His remaining Shadow Clones surged toward Neji.
Explosive Arrow!
Neji pulled and released the bowstring three times in rapid succession.
Three explosive arrows detonated mid-air like fireworks, engulfing the shadow clones.
As they reeled under the blasts, Multiple Arrows followed up, skewering their bodies.
"Partial Tailed Beast Transformation!"
Naruto stopped maintaining his multiple shadow clones.
Blood-colored chakra erupted from his body, wrapping around him.
Four tails formed and lashed behind him.
"Leaf Whirlwind!"
With a sudden burst of speed from his feet, Naruto closed the distance in a flash and launched a kick at Neji.
Neji saw only a blur. He reflexively raised the life-feather bow to block, but the impact sent him flying.
The force of the blow nearly numbed his right arm.
The sensation immediately reminded Neji of his fight with Lee.
Without hesitation, he tightened his grip on the life-feather bow and activated Yin Release Chakra Mode.
Yin Release Power surged out, forming a great tree before him.
"Violent: Leaf Hurricane Strong Whirlwind!"
With a single kick, Naruto shattered the tree into splinters.
Just as he was about to press the attack, a dense storm of Yin Release Arrows materialized all around him.
"Konoha Dragon God!"
Naruto's body instantly transformed into a blood-colored dragon.
The Yin Release Arrows that rained down on him were deflected one after another.
Neji immediately channeled a massive surge of Yin Release.
A wood dragon roared into existence and crashed head‑on into Naruto's blood‑colored dragon.
The air filled with a wild, screaming wind.
Neji's pale eyes narrowed.
Under the assault of the blood dragon, the Yin‑formed wood dragon's surface quickly became covered in dense, crisscrossing cuts.
The Wind Release Chakra coating the blood dragon was shredding it apart.
Neji drew in a deep breath and pulled his bowstring taut once more.
A Yin Release Arrow formed at the nock, but this time it didn't fly immediately. It trembled in place.
Even more Yin release power poured into it until the shaft shone with a blinding light.
Spiral Arrow.
Neji released.
The Yin Release Arrow drilled straight into the blood dragon.
Boom!
The blood dragon was run through.
The arrow continued on, hurtling toward Naruto.
In the next instant, four tails snapped out and wrapped tightly around it.
Seeing this, Neji clicked his tongue in regret, but his hands didn't stop moving.
He drove the Wood Dragon forward again, slamming it toward Naruto.
"Yang Release: Rasengan!"
Naruto roared as the tails behind him grew from four to six.
He raised his hand, and a blue Rasengan smashed straight into the Wood Dragon's head.
Boom!
A deep crater caved in the dragon's skull.
In the end, it wasn't a true Wood Dragon, only a Yin Release construct mimicking one.
"Konoha Gale!"
With six tails, Naruto's speed jumped to another level.
His kick hit Neji before Neji could even react.
Neji was sent crashing into the ground.
The earth exploded into fragments beneath him.
But he didn't black out; the Yin Release Chakra Mode around his body kept him conscious.
Gritting his teeth through the pain, Neji forced himself up and summoned a volley of Yin Release Arrows out of thin air.
"Leaf Great Whirlwind!"
Seeing the arrows, Naruto spun into a powerful kick.
The Yin Release Arrows he struck burst like punctured balloons, scattering harmlessly in every direction.
Without breaking stride, Naruto charged straight at Neji.
Eight Trigrams Palms: Revolving Heaven!
Neji planted his feet, spun, and unleashed a torrent of Chakra, forming a spinning dome around himself.
"Dynamic Entry!"
Naruto's kick slammed into the barrier, but it didn't budge; the force bounced him back.
His six tails stabbed into the ground behind him, anchoring his body and stopping his retreat.
"Konoha Dragon God!"
Naruto began to spin in place again, hurling himself toward Neji.
Beneath the descending blood‑red giant dragon, the Chakra dome of Neji's revolving heaven looked like it could shatter at any moment.
Neji immediately flared his chakra to the limit.
The shield ballooned outward, expanding severalfold.
Boom!
The two forces collided.
Neji's entire body went numb as he was blasted away.
Revolving Heaven shattered, and the blood‑colored dragon chased after him relentlessly.
A savage wind tore at Neji's face.
Those were blades of Wind Release Chakra—if they hit, he'd be sliced to ribbons.
Eight Trigrams: Vaccum Palm!
On instinct, Neji thrust out his hand.
The recoil from the technique blasted him backward even faster, instantly widening the gap between him and Naruto.
He hit the ground, rolled, and came up on one knee, immediately drawing the life-feather bow.
'World‑Ending Arrow.'
With no options left, he could only stake everything on this final shot.
Terrifying Chakra gathered at the bow.
Naruto instantly recognized the technique as a weakened version of the World‑Ending Arrow Hinata had used before.
He dispelled the Konoha Dragon God at once and braced himself, the tails on his body swelling from six to seven.
"Youth Super Large Rasengan!"
Naruto raised both hands and roared.
Blood‑red Chakra surged outward, forming a Rasengan over ten meters wide in front of him.
Watching from the side, Kitazawa's mouth twitched.
In the original story, the strengthened Rasengan was the Big Ball Rasengan.
In simple terms, that technique poured a massive amount of chakra into the sphere and then compressed it to a terrifying degree, giving it the impact of a small meteorite.
But the current Naruto didn't know the Big Ball Rasengan, so he chose a different, cruder method.
He just kept forcing an ocean of chakra into the Rasengan.
Even without high‑level compression, the sheer volume of Chakra gave it power on par with the Big Ball Rasengan.
Neji let his fingers slip from the string.
The World‑Ending Arrow shot forth and slammed into the Youth Super Large Rasengan.
A blinding light erupted as countless chakra streams speared into the sky. The entire Konoha Arena trembled nonstop, as if struck by an earthquake.
"Konoha Gale!"
Shrouded in a seven-tailed Tailed Beast cloak, Naruto ignored the rolling shockwaves and shot forward, lashing out with a kick toward Neji.
Even with the Byakugan, Neji couldn't react. Naruto's speed completely surpassed his perception; the kick landed clean, knocking him out in an instant.
Kitazawa shook his head.
In that moment, he felt a flicker of pity for Neji.
This was just bullying.
But there was nothing to be done—when the difference in raw stats was this absurd, most techniques became meaningless.
"Ne… Neji really did his best to hold out against Naruto for that long," Shikamaru said, face blank.
"Is the gap between people really this huge?" Ino murmured.
Naruto had already been ridiculous before, but she hadn't expected him to be even more outrageous now.
And she still had no idea if he'd even hit his limit or shown his full strength.
"Perhaps he isn't necessarily… human," Shino said coolly as he adjusted his glasses.
"Naruto was already strong, and with the Nine-Tails on top of that, he's even scarier," Kiba sighed. "There's no point in us comparing ourselves to him."
"…Yeah." Tayuya had already given up on that idea.
"True," Karin agreed.
Sakura's gaze drifted instinctively toward Sasuke.
His brows were tightly furrowed, his expression grave.
She couldn't help feeling worried. She wanted to say something to comfort him but feared jinxing it—so in the end, she stayed silent.
"The winner: Naruto!"
Kitazawa flickered to Neji's side, kneeling to place his hands over him and heal.
Though unconscious, Neji's injuries weren't serious.
Naruto had clearly held back on that final kick.
"Neji lost with honor," Shibi said quietly, a rare note of emotion in his voice. "His strength already surpasses mine. He was just unlucky enough to run into Naruto."
"Naruto is the Nine-Tails' Jinchuriki, after all," Shikaku added with a light chuckle. "He was bound to awaken that kind of terrifying power."
"That's a bit biased," Hiruzen countered, shaking his head. "Among all the Nine-Tails' Jinchuriki in history, Naruto's strength should be the greatest."
Uzumaki Mito and Uzumaki Kushina had never undergone the Turtle Island training that Naruto had completed.
At that, Shibi and the others showed clear surprise.
"And this still isn't Naruto's full power," Tsunade said with a faint smirk.
"So Naruto's become a Perfect Jinchuriki?" Jiraiya couldn't help blurting out.
Shibi and the others went from surprised to openly shocked.
They all understood the weight behind the title of "Perfect Jinchuriki."
Hiashi's expression turned resigned.
For Neji to win under those conditions would have taken a miracle.
"Don't rush it. You'll see for yourselves soon enough." Tsunade waved lazily.
"Can Sasuke really force out Naruto's full strength?" Hiashi asked doubtfully.
"Sasuke definitely can," Fugaku replied without hesitation.
Hiashi and the rest exchanged looks.
So Sasuke was hiding his strength as well.
"Why are you all acting like it's a given that Hinata will lose to Sasuke?" Tsunade asked in a teasing tone.
Hiashi opened his mouth, then closed it again.
He believed in Hinata—but belief alone couldn't erase a gap in strength.
Especially when she had gone all out in the previous match, revealing all her trump cards.
"Thank you, Kitazawa-sensei."
Neji woke soon after. He accepted his defeat calmly.
The gap was simply too vast; there had never been any real chance to overturn it.
"Fourth round, second match: Sasuke Uchiha vs. Hinata Hyuga!"
Once Neji left the arena, Kitazawa's voice rang out again.
Sasuke spared Naruto a brief glance, then walked to the center of the field.
"Just do your best," Kitazawa told Hinata before stepping back to the sidelines.
Hinata nodded, her heart settling a little.
"Begin!"
After the Seal of Confrontation, Kitazawa announced the start of the match.
"Multiple Arrows!"
Hinata struck first.
Nine Yin Release Arrows shot out, locking precisely onto Sasuke's vital points.
They were fast—but not faster than the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan.
Sasuke's body blurred as he shifted, slipping past all nine arrows with ease.
His speed spiked in an instant, the sword of lightning in his hand flashing forward. In the blink of an eye, the Thunder God blade was upon Hinata.
Clang!
Relying on her Byakugan, Hinata barely managed to catch the trajectory of his Thunder God Sword, meeting it at the last instant with her Moon Chasing Bow.
Sasuke wasn't surprised.
He instantly channeled Lightning Release chakra into the Thunder God Sword.
Brilliant lightning burst forth, racing toward Hinata at extreme speed.
"Gentle Fist: Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms!"
Hinata decisively released her grip on the Moon Chasing Bow and thrust out both palms.
Sasuke didn't dare take the attack head-on and immediately retreated.
Gentle Fist was the bane of all ninjas; even with his Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan activated, having his tenketsu struck would be extremely troublesome.
"Explosive Arrow!"
Hinata abruptly cut off her Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms, snatched up the Moon Chasing Bow, and loosed an arrow.
An invisible mental shockwave rippled outward.
Sasuke's eyes flickered. He ignored the Explosive Arrow.
"Lightning Release: Chidori Blade!"
He halted his retreat and lunged forward, driving the Thunder God Sword straight at Hinata.
The piercing cry of a thousand birds rang out as lightning wrapped around the Thunder God Sword, sending it forward as fast as a flash of light.
Hinata's breath caught; her vision was swallowed by lightning.
At the critical moment, she immediately activated Yin Release Chakra Mode.
Yin Release power surged forth, molding under her control into a massive wood dragon.
Sasuke instantly stopped his charge.
"Susanoo!"
He stood his ground as a skeletal giant, partially clad in armor, formed around him.
This was the second stage of Susanoo.
Susanoo clenched its fist and slammed it straight into the Wood Dragon.
Boom!
The Wood Dragon, woven from Yin Release power, let out a mournful roar, a huge dent caving in its head.
Hinata's expression changed drastically. Instinctively, she poured out even more Yin Release power.
Seeing this, Sasuke immediately cast Amenotejikara.
He took the opening to appear behind Hinata, raising the Thunder God Sword to strike.
Even though Hinata was shrouded in the protective chakra currents of her Yin Release Chakra Mode, they couldn't completely stop the piercing power of the Lightning Release: Chidori Blade.
After tearing through the chakra currents, Sasuke stopped his blade at the last possible instant.
"I surrender."
Hinata dispelled the Wood Dragon and spoke bluntly.
She hadn't used the World-Ending Arrow because it would be pointless against Sasuke.
His Amenotejikara could easily avoid the world-ending arrow.
In that case, it was better not to use it and to conserve Satori's chakra.
"The winner: Sasuke!"
Kitazawa announced.
"As expected, no surprise there."
Kiba shook his head.
"Woof! Woof! Woof!"
Akamaru barked.
"You're right," Kiba laughed. "A freak should be dealt with by a freak."
"Next is the final battle of the graduation exam."
Ino glanced at Naruto.
"Finally, I can have a battle full of youth with Sasuke!"
Naruto clenched his fists. "I can already feel my hot-blooded youth boiling!"
"Then are you prepared to lose?" Fresh off the field, Sasuke asked calmly.
"With youth like this, even if I lose, it's worth it!"
Naruto gave a thumbs-up, teeth gleaming.
"…"
Sasuke was momentarily speechless.
"Good luck to both of you!"
Ino paused, then added, "The most important thing is not to get hurt!"
"Yeah!"
Sakura echoed.
Sasuke subconsciously glanced at her.
'No jinx this time?'
"You guys rest first," Shikamaru reminded them. "You need to be in your best condition for the next match."
Sasuke nodded.
Although his fight with Hinata hadn't consumed much chakra, he wouldn't dare be careless against Naruto.
The fifteen-minute break passed quickly.
"Fifth round, first match: Sasuke versus Naruto!" Kitazawa shouted.
"This final match will certainly be spectacular."
A hint of anticipation appeared on Shibi's face.
"Naruto's and Sasuke's strength has already surpassed most Jonin," Choza sighed. "Even a standard Jonin exam doesn't reach this level of intensity."
"One is the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki; the other has awakened the Mangekyo Sharingan. I wonder who will win."
Hiruzen Sarutobi stroked his beard, his thoughts drifting inexplicably to Senju Hashirama and Uchiha Madara.
