Konoha Ninja Academy.
Kitazawa and Sasuke appeared on the training ground.
"Sasuke, get some good rest today. Tomorrow, you're coming with me to Takigakure," Kitazawa said.
"Takigakure?" Sasuke was briefly stunned.
He only vaguely remembered it as a small ninja village.
"Takigakure has sent a request for aid. They want us to protect the Seven-Tails' jinchūriki," Kitazawa explained. "We'll most likely run into the Akatsuki there."
Sasuke's eyes lit up at once.
The opportunity he had been waiting for had finally arrived.
Last time it was Naruto's turn; this time, it was finally his.
"Understood, Kitazawa-sensei!" Sasuke answered, full of fighting spirit.
He was determined to perform better than Naruto and earn a title even more imposing than his.
Kitazawa smiled and said nothing more.
He used the Flying Thunder God and appeared at the door of the Hokage's office.
After receiving permission to enter, Kitazawa pushed the door open and walked in.
"Members of the Akatsuki went to Takigakure?" Tsunade looked up at him, sounding as if she were confirming a guess.
"Not yet." Kitazawa shook his head. "I came today to talk to you about something else."
"What is it?" Tsunade set down the documents in her hand and asked curiously.
"Since Konoha is producing so many geniuses now, I want to form a new 'Konoha's Sannin.'" Kitazawa stepped closer to her desk as he spoke.
"Is there still a need for a new Konoha Sannin?" Tsunade couldn't help but smile. "Can the village even find two other geniuses on par with you?"
"I'm not talking about my generation." Realizing her misunderstanding, Kitazawa clarified.
"Students from the Genius Class?" Tsunade paused, propping her chin on one hand. "Which three students do you want to choose?"
"Naruto, Sasuke, and Hinata," Kitazawa replied.
"You're not picking a medical ninja?" Tsunade asked, somewhat surprised.
"With their strength, they don't need a medical ninja." Kitazawa paused, then added, "If they really need one, Hinata can learn Medical Ninjutsu."
In the original story, Hinata had indeed learned medical ninjutsu and even mastered the Mystic Palm Technique.
"You're their teacher; you can decide," Tsunade said casually.
"Naruto, Sasuke, and Hinata have already signed contracts with the three great summoning beast lands," Kitazawa continued, getting to the main point. "I just went to Ryūchi Cave with Sasuke."
"Sasuke passed the trial of Ryūchi Cave?" As one of Konoha's Sannin, Tsunade naturally knew about Ryūchi Cave's situation.
"He passed. I also reached a cooperation agreement with the White Snake Sage." Kitazawa cleared his throat. "Konoha can form a Summoning Beast unit."
When he finished speaking, he took out the contract scroll from Ryūchi Cave.
"...?"
Tsunade couldn't help showing a look of astonishment.
Wasn't the White Snake Sage of Ryūchi Cave notoriously difficult to deal with? How had she agreed to cooperate with Konoha?
"You defeated the White Snake Sage?" Tsunade suddenly caught on, understanding what this so-called cooperation meant.
"As expected of Tsunade-sensei, you figured it out right away." Kitazawa nodded in praise.
"Your way of doing things is becoming more and more like the Hidden Cloud Village." Tsunade took the contract scroll and made a wry remark.
"As long as it benefits Konoha," Kitazawa replied after a brief pause. "For example, once this Summoning Beast unit is established, it will greatly strengthen the village."
"I'm not blaming you," Tsunade said with a smile. "Konoha's been around for so long; it really can afford a change in style—starting with you, the Sixth Hokage."
"Who are you planning to put in charge of this Summoning Beast unit?" Kitazawa asked, looking at her.
"The most suitable candidate would be Orochimaru, but he likely wouldn't be willing," Tsunade mused after thinking for a moment. "Then it should be Yakushi Kabuto."
Kitazawa couldn't help being a little surprised.
But on second thought, it was indeed feasible.
Kabuto was one of the few shinobi who could learn Ryūchi Cave's Sage Mode.
On top of that, both his strength and age were appropriate.
After leaving the Hokage's office, Kitazawa went straight to find Kabuto.
As before, there wasn't much need for explanation. Kabuto agreed without hesitation.
After thinking it over for a moment, Kitazawa simply took him directly to Ryūchi Cave.
The increase in power from Sage Mode needed no elaboration. Since Yakushi Kabuto had the aptitude for Senjutsu and his current strength was already sufficient, it was only natural for him to learn Sage Mode first.
As for his research under Orochimaru, that could be put on pause.
Orochimaru wouldn't be going anywhere. Kabuto could finish mastering Sage Mode and then return to continue his studies with him.
After exchanging a few words with the White Snake Sage, Kitazawa left Ryūchi Cave and returned to the Hokage Building.
After a brief consideration, he headed toward the newly established Film and Television Department.
"Kitazawa?"
Kurenai looked up at him, surprise flickering across her face.
"What? I'm not allowed to come by?"
Kitazawa asked with a smile.
"Of course you can come!"
Kurenai stood up, walked over, and lifted her arms toward him.
Her intention was obvious.
Kitazawa drew her into his embrace.
She wrapped her arms around him, about to say something, when her body suddenly tensed—her hips tightening on reflex.
She glanced up at him from the corner of her eye.
His hands were kneading her buttocks.
"I still have work to do!"
Kurenai blurted out.
She could feel subtle changes spreading through her body. It sometimes felt like her body no longer belonged entirely to her.
"You really are a greedy little cat."
Kitazawa murmured with a laugh, meeting her gaze.
Her ruby-like eyes were already slightly unfocused and misty.
Kurenai was the perfect embodiment of "weak in skill but strong in desire."
Kitazawa suddenly thought of Tsunade.
Tsunade had clearly already accepted Kurenai.
In other words, his dream of having multiple partners was already halfway fulfilled. He only needed to complete the other half and… The thought made his blood stir.
For a man, this was a temptation that was hard to resist.
"It's all your fault!"
Kurenai's cheeks flushed as she spoke in feigned anger.
"Is that so?"
Kitazawa took her hand and led her over to the desk.
"I really do have work!"
Kurenai protested, her face turning even redder.
"I didn't say anything."
Kitazawa replied calmly as he sat down in the office chair.
"What are you thinking?"
"Then why are you sitting in my seat?" Kurenai huffed.
"Naturally, to check on your work progress."
Kitazawa glanced at the documents on the desk.
"Are you writing a movie script?"
"I'm not writing it, just organizing the plot Lady Tsunade gave me." Kurenai said, shaking her head.
Kitazawa casually picked up the stack of papers.
He flipped through a few pages and quickly understood the situation.
Tsunade had given Kurenai a set of memoirs about Senju Hashirama, but they were a mess—scattered thoughts, jumping all over the place.
To turn it into a film, the material needed to be shaped into a coherent storyline, something with a clear beginning, development, and conclusion that an audience could follow.
"So, how's the organizing going?"
Kitazawa set the document back down.
"I've got the general structure now."
Kurenai replied. "I should be able to hand it over to the film crew this week so they can start shooting."
"Efficient."
Kitazawa nodded in approval.
"My work ability is very impressive!" Kurenai said proudly, clenching her fist in a cute show of confidence.
"Then it seems I should reward you properly." Kitazawa said, taking her hand again.
Kurenai naturally moved to sit astride his lap.
By the time she realized what she was doing, her face was already burning.
Her mouth had refused, but her body wasn't listening.
Kitazawa raised a hand and pressed it lightly over her chest.
Kurenai let out a muffled groan, her body going weak.
Her legs, however, tensed; her toes curled and uncurled against the floor in spite of herself.
"Ki… Kitazawa…"
Before long, Kurenai's eyes were shimmering with moisture. Her red lips parted slightly, a bewitching expression settling over her face.
Without giving him a chance to respond, she took his head and pressed it against her chest.
A faint fragrance drifted into his nose.
From where he was, it felt like all he could see was the pale expanse of her skin.
His hands slid down to support her soft and pliable ass.
Kurenai straightened up slightly, her long, shapely legs giving a delicate tremor as she kicked off her shoes.
But her stamina really was poor. Before long, she collapsed forward into Kitazawa's arms.
Kitazawa stood and gently set her down in the office chair.
He looked at Kurenai's back, his gaze inevitably drawn down to the fullness of her hips.
They weren't as voluptuous as Tsunade's, but the way she lay sprawled over the office chair was still incredibly enticing.
Kitazawa stepped forward and wrapped an arm around her waist.
The sun dipped below the western horizon, and Kurenai's office fell into a deep, comfortable silence.
Utterly exhausted, Kurenai finally succumbed to sleep.
Kitazawa gently lifted her limp, soft body into his arms and carried her back to her room. After laying her carefully on the bed and making sure she was settled, he turned and headed back to her office.
He gathered the scattered clothes from the floor and quickly restored the room to its original, orderly state. Once everything looked normal again, he glanced up at the clock on the wall and then left the Hokage building.
—
A new day dawned.
Kitazawa arrived at the Ninja Academy.
"Kitazawa-sensei."
Sasuke came over to him at once.
Kitazawa couldn't help but smile at his eagerness. On the surface, Sasuke always acted composed, but in truth he was very similar to Naruto—impatient and driven. The difference lay only in their expressions; Sasuke kept his emotions tightly restrained.
The truly calm ones were Shino and Yakumo. Neji and Hinata could be counted as well.
"We're heading to Takigakure now," Kitazawa reminded him. "But the Akatsuki haven't arrived yet, so we'll probably have to wait for a while."
Sasuke nodded, even though the idea of waiting didn't sit well with him.
Kitazawa immediately activated the Flying Thunder God.
His Shadow Clone had already gone ahead to Takigakure with Kogen.
In the next instant, the two vanished from the Academy and appeared in an unfamiliar room—clearly the quarters Takigakure had prepared for his Shadow Clone.
"Sasuke, you'll stay here for now. My shadow clone will teach you Lightning Release: Kirin."
Kitazawa walked over to the window and looked outside.
Takigakure was completely cut off from the outside world, encircled by towering mountains. It felt like a secluded paradise hidden away from the rest of the Shinobi World.
"Yes, Kitazawa-sensei," Sasuke answered without hesitation.
Kitazawa withdrew his gaze from the scenery, gave his shadow clone a nod, and disappeared on the spot.
Once the Akatsuki members arrived, the Shadow Clone would dispel itself. When that happened, its memories would return to him, allowing Kitazawa to receive the warning immediately and rush back to Takigakure.
For now, Kitazawa returned to Konoha.
He headed straight to the Forest of Death to continue practicing Wood Release: Wood Golem Technique and to test out Susanoo whenever he had the chance.
In the original story, Susanoo was roughly divided into six stages. At its earliest stage, Susanoo manifested only ribs and arms. At its peak, the perfect Susanoo was a colossal, armored god of war with wings on its back. Its size rivaled that of a Tailed Beast; it possessed overwhelming power, could fly, and was even capable of forming hand signs to cast ninjutsu.
Beyond those forms, there were two particularly special variants: Senjutsu Susanoo and Majestic Armor: Susanoo. The former combined Sage Mode with Susanoo, while the latter was Susanoo clad over Kurama.
Of course, if Susanoo could be clad over Kurama, it could be clad over other things as well. In his previous life, there had long been a popular theory: Susanoo armor for the Buddha form using wood release.
Such a form had never appeared in the original work. Before Senju Hashirama and Uchiha Madara became enemies, the overall level of other shinobi in the world was simply too low—there was no need for something as excessive as the Susanoo clad over the Great Buddha to dominate the ninja world. And by the time true monsters like Ōtsutsuki Kaguya appeared, Hashirama and Madara were already bitter foes, making that combination even more impossible.
Now, Kitazawa could already summon Susanoo. But with the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan in his possession, he didn't want to progress step by step. His goal was to leap straight to Perfect Susanoo.
Only then could he attempt the legendary Susanoo clad over the great Buddha.
Time slipped into May.
Sasuke still hadn't returned to Konoha. He remained in Takigakure, training Lightning Release: Kirin under the guidance of Kitazawa's Shadow Clone.
The other students in the genius class weren't idle either. With the new semester underway, many of their previous efforts were starting to bear fruit.
For example, Rock Lee had already opened the Third Gate of the Eight Gates. Kitazawa estimated that by the time Lee graduated, he should be able to open the fifth gate or even more—just like during the Chunin exams in the original story.
Another example was Naruto. Under Jiraiya's instruction, he had already proven he possessed the talent to learn Sage Mode. But at Kitazawa's recommendation, Naruto had not started Sage Mode yet and was focusing on mastering Nine-Tails chakra mode first.
However, there was a crucial place for training Nine-Tails' chakra mode, Turtle Island, in the Hidden Cloud Village.
Turtle Island was especially suited for nurturing a perfect Jinchuriki. In the original story, Naruto had mastered Nine-Tails Chakra Mode at the Falls of Truth located on that very island.
But back then, it was during the Fourth Great Ninja War, and the Five Great Nations had already formed an alliance. Under the current circumstances, getting the Hidden Cloud's approval for such training would be anything but easy.
Kitazawa planned to first observe the Akatsuki's movements. If Nagato truly intended to attack the Hidden Cloud, Kitazawa would seize that opportunity to bring Naruto to Turtle Island.
—
On the third week of the new semester, Kitazawa abruptly halted his Wood Release: Wood Golem practice in the Forest of Death.
A surge of memories flooded back to him—his Shadow Clone in Takigakure had just been dispelled.
Without hesitation, Kitazawa used the Flying Thunder God.
When his vision cleared, a young girl with short blue-green hair and dark skin stood before him.
She was none other than the Seven-Tails Jinchuriki—Fu.
"Eh? How did you suddenly disappear and then reappear?" Fu asked, full of curiosity.
"Take me to see Shibuki," Kitazawa said with a smile.
In the original story, Fu was extremely upbeat and energetic—a personality that could rival Naruto's.
"Let's go!" Fu cheered, waving her arm enthusiastically.
Kitazawa and Sasuke followed her and soon arrived in front of Shibuki.
"Leader, we're here!" Fu called as she trotted into the room.
"Fu, didn't I tell you to stay in your room?" Shibuki scolded, clearly displeased. "You're in danger right now. Don't run around."
"Lord Shibuki," Kitazawa said, his tone turning serious. "Two members of the Akatsuki Organization are quickly approaching Takigakure."
"What?"
Shibuki's heart lurched, and panic flickered across his face. He had only recently become leader, and combined with his youth, his composure was still lacking. In truth, in the original story, he had been even more pitiful.
"Don't worry, Leader!" Fu clenched her fist. "Just watch me blow them all away!"
"The Akatsuki Organization has already captured five Jinchuriki. You're no match for them," Shibuki muttered, pacing back and forth in agitation.
"I can send you to Konoha first," Kitazawa suggested, catching sight of Shibuki's expression and suddenly having an idea.
"I can't leave!" Shibuki drew in a deep breath. "I will live or die with Takigakure!"
"Me too!" Fu immediately chimed in.
"Fu, you're different. You're their target—you can't stay," Shibuki said after a brief hesitation.
"I want to stay!" Fu's expression hardened. "I'm also a ninja of Takigakure. I can't run away!"
"Lord Kitazawa, please take her away first," Shibuki said at last, his resolve firming. "Once we've driven the Akatsuki away, she can return."
Sasuke hesitated, wanting to speak up.
He really wanted to ask why they needed to retreat at all. With Kitazawa's strength and his own, repelling the Akatsuki should be simple.
But since the idea had come from Kitazawa himself, Sasuke held his tongue.
If Tsunade were present, she would have understood Kitazawa's intentions immediately—to use this chance to trick Fu, the Seven-Tails Jinchuriki, into coming to Konoha.
"No way!" Fu refused without a moment's thought.
But Kitazawa simply activated the Flying Thunder God Technique and whisked her away to Konoha.
Their sudden appearance startled Jiraiya and Uzumaki Naruto.
"Jiraiya-sama, Naruto, she's the Seven-Tails Jinchuriki, Fu. I'll leave her to you for now," Kitazawa said.
After dropping Fu off, he returned to Takigakure.
"I'll gather all of Takigakure's ninja to guard the exit right away!" Shibuki declared, drawing in a deep breath. "No matter what, we must stop them!"
Even though he knew Kitazawa was extremely powerful, the Akatsuki's recent reputation in the ninja world was far too terrifying. Shibuki couldn't muster much confidence in his heart.
