Chapter 393 - Chapter 392: Caught Red-Handed

Welt Yang truly never expected to see any of the two, not to mention both of them. He wasn't idle during the past few centuries. When he wanted to, he could use several spirit artifacts to conceal his presence. He could turn the "heavens" unstable, blocking any attempts of divination to peer at his location.

This was one of the few events where Welt Yang utilized it. Yet it was nothing in front of Shi Tian's expertise. The Dao of All Creation complements allDaos present in myriad worlds. It was but a trifle to use it to temporarily reach the capabilities of an eighth-grade diviner.

He stealthily took a step back, took out a bag of high-grade Soul Enticing Peanuts, and began snacking on them. Welt Yang did not have the time to be speechless as he met Edison's questioning.

"Why did you play hide and seek with me? Even the classmate I asked help from could not pinpoint your location! If it wasn't for Uncle Tian, I wouldn't have found you…"

'Damn.'

That was all he could say as he watched the father and daughter duo have an argument. Once it became heated, he took the initiative to slip out. He wasn't as insensitive and tasteless to revel at others' misfortune.

Reappearing in an empty alley, Shi Tian casually walked out and followed the flow of the crowd. The towering buildings and the bustle both in land and air turned Earth into a certified 'high-level' cultivation civilization.

'He did deserve it…'

He mulled over things as he strolled the streets. He happened to see a candied haw and bought one. The sweet layer of caramelized sugar and the crisp of the apple felt satisfying to his senses. Everything used to make it are all spirit plants.

'As expected, trillions' worth of wisdom could come up with many interesting things…'

Welt Yang's experience was a lesson to him. That was with him having one wife; Shi Tian has several. Naturally, he has to give it his 10,000%. He couldn't be as one-sided as Welt Yang. Any conflicts must be resolved quickly to remove any grievances.

Finally…

'Having a child is not that easy.'

For immortal cultivators, having a child was a way to continue the bloodline. Most would do it when their talents could no longer support future cultivation. Making a child is a form of investment as well as a failsafe to ensure they would never be forgotten in this world.

However, to those cultivators with high potentials, having children meant forsaking a part of their future. They would have to halt their cultivation sessions, placing their precious time in guiding their children. They also had to split apart resources to ensure their future growth. In short, it is a huge hassle.

Countless thoughts flickered in Shi Tian's eyes. He recalled their longing to have a child of their own. The biggest reason behind his apprehension was the danger they would face in this world. His idea was to reach the True Immortal Realm first. That way, everyone's safety would be ensured.

However…

'It will take a long time. My two future tribulations too.'

Shi Tian could not wait until that time. What he could do, however, is to focus on breaking through to the Dao Integration Realm first. That way, the Federation would have a solid backing against the Aeons, barring Kiana. With the capability of a Dao Integration Realm expert, he is more than confident in fighting against the so-called 'fake cultivators'.

The moment he made this choice, he felt his mind becoming lighter. The fusion of his three aspects—body, mind, and soul—reached perfection. Shi Tian's breakthrough at the Void Refinement Realm stabilized completely. Sensing his current state, he could not help but feel speechless.

'Others contemplate the philosophy of life, yet here I am thinking of the best times to have a child…'

Just then, he felt a faint pricking sensation behind his neck. He looked back and saw nothing unusual. The sense of unease in his heart did not stop, however.

'It's not like the time with IX. It's more of…'

Shi Tian recalled the times he divined the upcoming chaos of his partners. The feeling he had just now matched exactly that!

Unfortunately for him, his three-hundred-year long sleep caused his immortal cultivation to lag behind others. Still, there was something else he could use now.

'I can finally play with mirrors too…'

*****

"Aeons… are like that."

In the eyes of Xianzhou's diviners, matters relating to Aeons are shrouded by heaven. The karma entailed behind it was so complex their instruments could not peer through it. Things are different for the Federation, however.

The elusive Peak Master of the Divination Peak had long reached the status of an eighth-level diviner. The essence of three thousand Daos could not be hidden from her eyes. Wendy was merely limited by her lacking realm, hence she could not showcase her full capabilities all the time. Still, she could momentarily reach the eighth-level threshold, allowing Wendy to watch the actions of the Aeons beyond the already fragile imaginary barrier.

Its insane strategic value placed her at the forefront when it comes to predicting any possible attacks and confrontations. It was also she who predicted how long the barrier would remain standing—five hundred more years barring no irregularities. That factored the interference of the Aeons on the outside world.

Such a strong power was used by Wendy to stalk Shi Tian right at this moment…

'His casual fit..!'

She almost drooled at the sight of his casual fit. Different from his formal daoist robes, he sported the aura of a boy-next-door. His white t-shirt fitted his physique, with his black jogging pants and matching running shoes sealing the deal. Even his deliberately suppressed presence caught a lot of attention amongst the bystanders.

Just then, Wendy's ears caught the sound of mirrors shattering. Her Hexagram Spirit worked almost instantly, deducing the source behind it. Her entire body froze as new information entered his mind.

"I didn't know you had a hobby of stalking others. I won't comment on it, but it'll be bad if the subject wasn't me."

"I never stalk others!"

Her blanked-out mind, unbefitting of the Void Refinement Realm, blurted out her real thoughts in defense. Wendy covered her mouth in pure embarrassment as her face turned beet red. The light green highlights at the ends of her shoulder-length hair swayed right as she averted her gaze. Her mind conjured all sorts of future scenarios, all to escape her current predicament, but to no avail.

'W-what should I do..?'
