Remembrance holds power over the world's "time". It governs over 'past', allowing the passing moments of the present to be turned into memories.
Cyrene, after becoming Demiurge, recovered from being blasted into pieces by the Stellaron imploded by Lygus (lit. Zandar). Remembrance did a huge part in it.
Most importantly, her act of going back into the past to complete Amphoreus' loop—thereby sealing Irontomb inside for all the years to come—was supported by Remembrance.
She was no stranger to its capabilities, yet when she was suddenly 'called out' at an unknown point of time, she was caught off guard.
'The story hasn't happened like this.'
Demiurge was familiar with Amphoreus' 'story'. Phainon would continue regressing until the 33,550,336th cycle. That was when the Trailblazer intruded upon Zandar's experimental ground—the time the Astral Express came across Amphoreus.
A quick mobilization of Remembrance's power filled her in on everything that happened.
The 15,015,021st cycle occurred as usual. Phainon, under the guise of Flame Reaver, regresses to claim this cycle's twelve Coreflames. Then, he is ought to pass on everything to the Phainon of this cycle, turning him into the Flame Reaver of the next.
Everything was overturned by the arrival of a foreigner.
Her bright purple irises stared at the said foreigner's face.
As a beautiful girl, she felt inferior to his face card. His handsomeness was practically indescribable. It is no longer limited by the perfect proportions or excess face cat, but something spanning beyond the divine.
"I did not expect the thirteenth Titan to be a glazer."
"..?"
Though Demiurge kept it hidden, a hint of guilt appeared on her pupils. How could she say that she was too preoccupied by Shi Tian's godly appearance?
"You should have known of everything that has happened up to now."
She gently nodded before speaking.
"A foreigner's intervention is what we… what Amphoreus needed."
Demiurge showed her intention of not blaming him. If it was someone else, they might have shown hostility towards Shi Tian. He did attract the gaze of Nihility, one of the worst Aeons to interact with. One wrong mistake and the entire Amphoreus will be swallowed underneath the Black Sun's shadow.
She saw through his intention to save Amphoreus. It is not a simple 'saving', but one that would bring everyone to the universe.
Something not even she nor the Trailblazer could do, yet this foreigner aspires for it.
More shockingly, he is already halfway through it!
From his small self-made system to usurping Remembrance's authority through unknown means, he had long surpassed anyone in Demiurge's cognition.
An unfounded, baseless sense of trust arose from her heart. Reason serves to show how illogical it was. Yet, she finds herself doing so.
"I came here for one… two things. One of them is to save Amphoreus, or at least bring several people out to the universe."
Shi Tian bluntly explained his purpose.
The time he spent with the Imperator and the Siren is memorable, so much so his will to pen good endings took hold of him. There was also the clingy Trianne whose curiosity towards his stories never ended. Shi Tian wants to see them out of this damned cage—out of the Aeons' playground!
"The other is related to the foundation of my power." He paused before materializing a crescent-shaped white-purple bow.
He tossed it to the startled Demiurge and continued explaining:
"I need to know the secrets held by the Remembrance."
"Secrets? Aren't you…"
"I only inherited Remembrance's authority. Its power. You, as a Pure Child of Anasrava (lit. Lack of Taints), are born out of Fuli's fragments."
The way Remembrance diverged straight to Eastern Concepts caught Shi Tian at first, but as a bonafide immortal cultivator, he adapted well to it.
Fuli's existence revolves around the 'Anasrava'. It is a Buddhist term used when one transcends all the world's asavas (lit. sins), reaching the khīṇāsava (lit. final liberation) and achieving nirvana (lit. mahayana/arhat/buddha).
"It is said that out of all, there are three Purest Children…."
Kamasrava, the taint of desires and physical pleasures.
Avidyasrava, the taint of ignorance which hinders one from liberation.
Finally…
"Bhavasrava, the taint of obsession over the world's existence, oneself included."
Shi Tian's golden eyes held immeasurable wisdom. The pressure emanating from it made her heart sink—not out of fear, but of its sheer vastness.
"It is said in my world that to attain nirvana, one must liberate themselves from sins. This leads to the cessation of obsession, the disappearance of the concept of self and others. Only then can samsara be broken."
Demiurge understood everything he had stated. It all overlapped with the 'knowledge' inside of her.
"Fuli can be likened to that Buddhist. You are the manifestation of THEIR Bhavasrava, or to be more exact, the way THEY would transcend it."
A thousand years of contemplation, fueled with countless scripts of immortal cultivation, made Shi Tian the irrefutable Dao Ancestor.
"You are something else, dear foreigner~"
She let out the words of praise welling up in her chest before reverting to her somewhat serious look. Demiurge spread her pearly-white palms out.
Buzz-!
An ice crystal emerged out of thin air. Its translucent state revealed blurry memories flashing from its insides.
"It holds everything I have ever known. I will entrust it to you, dear foreigner."
The floating fragment was received by him. Shi Tian saw her body slowly turning transparent before sighing.
Ultimately, the World Rendering Sword is but a fraction of what the Dao Integration Realm possesses. It cannot allow the future Demiurge to exist permanently in this foreign time period.
"Shi Tian. That is my name."
"Shi Tian…"
"Wait for a while. I… will save you too."
"..!"
He glanced at the image of the pink elf. Elysia's will came to his mind. She taught him how wishes work. The impact she left was memorable, especially the time she guided him one last time to defeat Nihility's fragment.
The Elysia of Amphoreus, Demiurge.
Her story overlapped with his. She stopped at nothing to pull Amphoreus from the pits of Destruction. Demiurge did not hesitate to sacrifice her life—to let go of her existence.
She is the manifestation of Fuli's Bhavasrava. THEIR capacity to let go of their existence.
She pretty much mirrored Shi Tian's self-sacrificial tendencies. Only, she did not have other people to reel her back in. She is what would Shi Tian become had Kiana and the others never existed.
This time, Shi Tian wanted to pass on their kindness… to become the Kiana Demiurge never had.
Words need not be said. His eyes conveyed everything there ever was.
'Someone…'
A kindred soul.
Demiurge saw him as one. Just as Hysilens saw herself in Shi Tian's side who suffered from Nihility, Demiurge saw herself in him.
All sorts of complex thoughts flooded her heart. She could not find herself to speak out her thoughts.
And so, time passed in silence.
Everything turned into a phrase Cyrene could remember from a teacher:
"Then, see you tomorrow~!"
