Chapter 75 - Chapter 75: The Great Sea Battle of Skegli (Part Five)

Aboard the Oro Jackson.

Zephyr once again sent Rayleigh flying with a punch, then turned around and took down another enemy. Just then, a furious roar came from the side.

"Fishman Karate!"

A moment later, Fishman Sunbell leapt out from the sea, a sphere of water condensed in his palm, his face twisted with rage as he glared at Zephyr.

He charged forward and thrust his palm out, aiming to slam it into Zephyr.

But Zephyr remained unmoved.

Just as the attack was about to land, he raised his left hand, a blur flashing past.

Zephyr's left hand had somehow already clamped down on Sunbell's right wrist, forcefully halting his charge.

Then, Zephyr's right hand jabbed at Sunbell's right elbow while his left hand twisted with force.

This Fishman Karate secret technique, unleashed by Sunbell himself, filled with irreversible force, now rebounded onto him.

In Sunbell's terrified eyes, his own palm was drawing closer and closer to his chest...

BOOM!!!

A thunderous explosion rang out as Sunbell crashed to the ground, motionless.

A massive hole gaped in his chest, gushing blood and shredded flesh—he was no longer breathing...

At that moment, a flash of blades lit up the sky.

A wave of deadly danger surged through Zephyr's nerves.

He spun around sharply, crossing his arms coated in Armament Haki in front of him.

Clang!

A savage slash tore through the air, slamming straight into Zephyr's forearms.

The force blasted Zephyr through the railing and off the ship.

Zephyr stabilized himself midair, one hand holding back the slash, the other coated in Armament Haki and hammering against the energy wave.

CRACK!

The sword energy shattered with a violent explosion. A shockwave blasted out, forcing Zephyr back several more steps.

Adjusting his stance, Zephyr stomped forward with a sonic boom, charging back against the howling gusts.

Meanwhile, Roger had already returned to the ship after unleashing a slash.

Looking at the casualties—nearly half his men either dead or injured—his eyes grew even more savage and violent.

Sengoku, charging from behind, and Zephyr from the front, formed a pincer assault toward the Oro Jackson..

...

On the sea surface battlefield.

Golden Lion soared hundreds of meters into the sky, charging at Whitebeard while brandishing his twin swords.

Sword energy rained down like a storm upon Kong and Garp, who were charging up from below.

Though it disrupted them, it caused no real harm.

In a flash, the two top-tier masters of physical combat reached Golden Lion.

The arrogance on Golden Lion's face vanished as his eyes narrowed.

With Haki-clad twin blades, he struck at the two men who had reached him.

Clang!

The three clashed in a triangular standoff, holding for a few breaths.

BOOM!!!

Golden Lion was blasted away, turbulence swirling in his wake. After flying several hundred meters, he steadied himself midair.

Glaring at the two charging toward him, he muttered:

"Tch. What a pain."

With that, he soared upward into the clouds.

Once he reached the clouds, he turned and charged toward the battlefield where Whitebeard and Sakazuki were locked in combat.

Below, Kong and Garp snorted at the audacity of his abilities, then surged toward Whitebeard without hesitation.

...

On the battlefield where Sakazuki and Whitebeard fought.

Endless magma erupted from beneath the sea, directed by Sakazuki's will.

The relentless magma poured down, forming a vast scorched landscape.

The two most heavily injured men now battled atop these blackened lava plains.

Sakazuki swung his longsword at Whitebeard.

Behind him, the lava solidified, then surged up into several long magma dragons that followed the arc of his blade.

Clang!

Blades clashed, sparks flying.

They locked for a brief moment before the magma dragons caught up and slammed down onto Whitebeard.

Boom boom boom boom boom!...

The magma engulfed them both.

Whitebeard grunted, wrapped in searing lava, before releasing a burst of his power.

A massive explosion tore open the lava sea, revealing his battered figure, panting heavily.

He looked toward the distant Sakazuki, a crooked smile tugging at his lips.

"Gurarararara... Out of steam already, magma brat?"

Sakazuki looked weary, but far less haggard than Whitebeard. He sneered.

"Even your Armament Haki isn't as hard as that mouth of yours."

Then he took a deep breath, channeling all his strength, and plunged his hands into the ground, roaring:

"Meteor Volcano Burial!!!"

At Sakazuki's bellow, the ground turned into raging magma, rising into a towering wave hundreds of meters high.

Layer upon layer surged toward Whitebeard.

Whitebeard stared up at the molten tsunami descending like the sky collapsing, a grave light flashing in his eyes.

He stabbed his naginata into the ground, clenched his fists at his waist.

Then—

CRACK!

The air exploded as the muscles in his arms burst again, blood spraying.

The quake tore through space, shredding the incoming magma waves.

But the next layers crashed down, battering the fractured space with relentless force.

Then a domineering voice echoed across the battlefield:

"Lion: Earth Bind!"

Golden Lion arrived at the battlefield ahead of the others, and the moment he landed, he activated his power.

The black ground rippled and shifted.

"ROAR!!!"

Six enormous black lion heads, each a hundred meters tall, formed and charged straight at Sakazuki and Whitebeard.

Whoosh!

A piercing wind tore through the air.

Bang bang bang bang...

Garp appeared, his entire body coated in Armament Haki, smashing through four of the lion heads in one breath.

Just as he was about to crash into the fifth, Shiki activated his ability.

The fifth lion head exploded violently, the shockwave throwing Garp off balance.

The last lion head didn't target Sakazuki—but hurled itself directly at Whitebeard in the center of the magma tsunami.

BOOM!
