"…Even the face looks like Uchiha Madara?"
In the bathroom, Shin stood shirtless before the mirror. His physique was lean and well-proportioned, and the definition of his eight-pack abs was obvious, though there was still a youthful softness to his features.
"This is basically Uchiha Madara in his teens…" he muttered.
Almost without thinking, his dark pupils shifted—turning a deep, vivid scarlet. Three black tomoe began to spin slowly within each eye.
Suddenly, everything around him sharpened into perfect clarity. Even the smallest speck of dust in the air was as visible as if it had been magnified.
"This is…the Sharingan?"
Even now, Shin found it hard to believe he'd actually become an anime character—and not just any character, but the legendary Uchiha Madara himself.
From the memories the system had poured into his mind, he'd learned that he'd inherited all of Madara's powers at their peak.
He even had the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan, Wood Style, the Rinnegan, and…the Six Paths mode.
Learning this, Shin felt his anxiety ease considerably. In a world filled with powerful Quirks, he finally had the means to protect himself.
But—
"…Heh. Calling this 'self-defense' would be an understatement."
He covered his right eye, leaving the left uncovered so the three spinning tomoe gleamed in the mirror. A faint smirk tugged at the corners of his lips.
"This…is practically invincibility."
Ding dong~
Early the next morning, the doorbell rang so loudly it echoed through the entire villa.
"Who the hell…?"
Shin sat bolt upright in bed, hair a mess, blinking blearily at the clock on the wall.
Seven in the morning.
"I don't know a single person here. Who'd come knocking this early?"
He scratched at his hair, yawned, and shuffled downstairs without even bothering to put on a shirt.
When he pulled the door open, he was greeted by a girl with long black hair and delicate, pretty features. Her figure was almost exaggeratedly mature for her age—especially the proud curve of her chest.
"Good morning, I'm—"
The girl began to introduce herself, but when her eyes fell on Shin—standing there in nothing but a pair of underpants—her face turned bright red.
"AHHHHH!"
She sucked in a huge breath and screamed so loudly it nearly shattered his eardrums.
"Hey—stop screaming!"
Shin jolted fully awake in an instant and hurriedly clapped a hand over her mouth. "You're acting like I did something unspeakable!"
The girl took a few ragged breaths. Finally, her eyes darted away, her voice small.
"T-Then…could you…put on some clothes first?"
"Eh?"
Shin glanced down—and finally realized.
He was wearing nothing but his underwear.
His mind snapped into full clarity. He awkwardly scratched his messy black hair.
"…Sorry. Everything's been a little sudden. Let me just…go get dressed."
Before the girl could reply, he slammed the door shut. After a frantic scramble to throw on some clothes, he reopened the door.
"Come in."
He stepped aside to let her pass. "I'll go make you some tea."
"…Then I won't stand on ceremony."
Her cheeks were still faintly pink as she nodded and walked into the house.
"…Hold on."
Shin stared after her, recognizing her at last.
"Isn't she…Yaoyorozu Momo? What's she doing here?"
"Hello. My name is Yaoyorozu Momo."
Sitting primly on the sofa, she'd regained her composure. She reached out her hand.
"Nice to meet you."
"Hello. I'm Shin—"
He almost slipped and gave his old name but caught himself.
"—I mean, Uchiha Madara."
He shook her hand and couldn't help glancing at her chest for half a second.
…This outfit really was as revealing as he remembered from the anime.
Just a glance—he quickly looked away before she noticed.
"My family lives across the street. Also… I'm sorry about your parents. I hope you aren't too upset."
Yaoyorozu's gentle smile was tinged with genuine sympathy.
"…?"
Shin blinked, waiting quietly for her to go on.
"My parents asked me to bring these over to you."
From somewhere—he had no idea where—she produced a dozen large shopping bags and set them neatly on the coffee table.
"Your parents…"
Shin was bewildered.
Why had she come over to deliver so much stuff?
Was this…some kind of arranged engagement gift?
"My parents and yours were business partners. Didn't you know?"
Her tone was soft, but her sharp gaze caught the flicker of confusion in his eyes.
"…I see."
He felt the tension drain from his shoulders.
Probably the system's doing again.
He set the freshly brewed black tea on the table.
"Thank you—and please thank your parents for their kindness on my behalf."
Yaoyorozu took the cup and sipped it without hesitation.
"If there's nothing else, I should be going."
"Of course. I'll walk you out."
They went to the entrance together. Shin opened the door for her.
"…You're quite the gentleman."
Yaoyorozu smiled, her lips curving in amusement. She stepped outside but paused on the threshold.
"I remember we're the same age. Are you interested in enrolling at U.A.?"
"U.A. High…"
Shin closed his eyes for a moment, then reopened them, the faintest smile tugging at his mouth.
"…Of course I'm interested. See you there."
"I'll be waiting~"
