The sound of the wind chimes filled the quiet, empty room. Raphiel and Gheo were silent, and Leona was thinking hard, but right now, she needed Raphiel's reason. Raphiel had just asked to be made, but there was no reason behind any of this.
"Gheo."
Leona called out to Gheo, who was petting a cat. Gheo immediately turned to Leona with a blank and confused look.
"Yes?" he replied.
"I only know a little about you, and I'm not surprised you came here with Raphiel."
"Why do you know me?"
"Your father. No, Thareon."
"Ahh..."
Leona immediately stood up after the very short conversation with Gheo. She walked over to Raphiel, who was fast asleep on the table. Leona grabbed Raphiel's collar and lifted him up with her bare hands, carrying him to a more comfortable sofa near the wide-open window and laying him down there so Raphiel could sleep comfortably. Gheo just watched from a distance.
"He'll always be like this, he's very unusual with extreme cold or hot weather."
Leona started walking towards Gheo after putting Raphiel on the very comfortable sofa.
"Why is that?"
"He's a flower."
Gheo was confused. What did she mean by flower? Had he missed something? He just stood there silently, staring at Leona as she walked over to sit next to him on the bench at the dining table. Leona felt a little strange that Gheo was staring at her, and she blushed a little.
"What?"
Gheo shook his head.
"Nothing."
Leona tried to sit up straight and return to her own thoughts. The room was silent, Gheo didn't dare to speak, and Leona just sat there, not knowing what to say, but she took out a sketchbook and tore out a page, then picked up some drawing tools. Gheo just watched what Leona was doing.
"Do you like big weapons?"
Gheo was confused and tilted his head.
"What kind?"
Leona smiled, her hand still holding the pencil tightly as she drew.
"Like Thareon's. He has a very large weapon, but it's also very sharp. It can even split a thousand trees with a single swing, and that's just the weakest power of his sword."
Gheo still stared at Eona drawing, and he felt like he wanted to try it too. Gheo took a sketchbook and tore out a page, then took one of the pencils Leona had provided. He began to draw as he imagined it, knowing what he would do in the future and how it would be used outside of this world.
Leona stopped drawing in the middle of her work and stared at Gheo, who was drawing very seriously. He seemed too serious, but Leona still wanted to know more about Gheo. His hair was green but shiny, with strange waves in it, which seemed to be a pattern.
"You're unique, aren't you?"
Leona still stared and played with Gheo's hair a little.
"I hope that's a compliment,"
Gheo replied, still very serious with his paper.
Leona just smiled at Gheo's answer, so serious in his world of forming his own big sword. He was very excited to meet a new world.
Leona stood up from her seat, took a photo book from the cabinet next to the sofa where Raphael was sleeping. Then she returned to her seat, next to Gheo.
"Gheo. For every weapon you ask for, you must donate twenty percent of your power."
Gheo immediately raised his head and looked at Leona.
"You mean my power?"
"Yes. And I can't take your power with an injection, it will be destroyed, but... there is another way..."
Leona smiled wickedly, glancing at Gheo with a small chuckle. Gheo began to feel uncomfortable with Leona's smile.
"Huh...?"
Leona laughed out loud. Actually, she didn't want to make Gheo feel uncomfortable, but she found it funny to see someone so innocent afraid of her actions.
"Hehehe... Well... not now, that's too soon."
"Ugh... I swear, Leona, your voice is so loud..."
Suddenly, Raphiel woke up and complained to Leona that she was laughing too loudly and it hurt his ears.
"Oh no, the Flower Prince is awake. How are you, Your Highness? Did you sleep well?"
"Don't exaggerate."
Raphiel became a little more annoyed with Leona, who liked to disturb him. He no longer wanted to sleep, so Raphiel got up from the sofa and walked closer to the dining table to drink some water. Raphiel looked down, as if he was still sleepy.
On the other hand, Leona took Gheo's drawing paper, which looked like it was finished even though it was still in its initial form. The drawing wasn't very good, but it was clear what he wanted. The shape was unique, only rectangular, and inside it had space to fill with acid and could also be changed into other shapes for use at certain times. Uniquely, the design had a futuristic feel to it. This was no longer a pre-version but already the Iva version, referring to the insect Vertunia Airu.
"You're amazing."
Leona praised Gheo as she looked more closely at his weapon sketch. With that, Leona stood up, placing her paper on the table. Raphael and Gheo were startled when Leona suddenly stood up without warning.
"Come on, Gheo, let's start now. I want to take your acid first."
"Eh... why?"
"It won't hurt… it'll just tickle~"
"Gheo, don't get too close to her. She's weird."
Leona smiled wickedly and sweetly as she approached Gheo, wanting to scare him away from her advances so that Gheo would feel tickled and afraid of her.
"Gheo… come here. I won't bite you~"
Gheo felt nervous and got goosebumps hearing Leona teasing him constantly, even though he didn't understand her intentions. Gheo became nervous when Leona touched and caressed his face until he trembled.
"S-STOP IT, LEONA...!"
"Leona, don't scare people!"
Raphael immediately approached Leona and tried to separate the two of them, but Leona really didn't want to let Gheo go because of a project that made Leona very excited for Gheo.
There was chaos in the internal system that would involve the external system in the field of planetarium usage outside of space.
The dark room was accompanied by blue light coming from glass tubes, the sound of typing filling the silent room with dozens of people inside who were completely silent. Only the sound of typing and the waves of water in the tubes could be heard. The entire laboratory had a mysterious atmosphere inside, dark but allowing them to concentrate more deeply.
In another corridor, someone was rushing down the hallway, holding papers and a small tablet in their hands. She ran towards a room quite far from the laboratory, even being chased by several people wearing lab coats. The girl panicked when those people became a little faster than her. However, she kept running and also looked around her. She found the hallway door button, her goal being to forcefully close the hallway door. She didn't have much time for that. The button was in front of her, so she used Starforce. Mahinia, the name of her power. She kept running but also used Starforce from her hands, letting her power forcefully close the door.
Slowly and quickly, the door closed and blocked the path of those chasing the girl. They were locked inside the hallway, annoyed.
"DAMN YOU, VERDINAN!"
The man hit the door with his fist in great anger.
The girl could then breathe a sigh of relief after running through the very long hallway. She rested on the stairs, taking deep breaths repeatedly before going to the next floor to meet someone. However, she was still in a hurry. Running for so long in the very long hallway made her chest hurt at that moment, but she didn't want to leave her tracks behind for too long, so the girl slowly stepped onto the next floor.
She took the evacuation route, knowing that the main staircase would be even more dangerous if she went that way. After reaching the next floor, she had to climb three more flights of stairs, and the person's room was very far away, especially since the stairs leading to the room were very complicated. If this weren't a serious matter, the girl would have been reluctant to visit the room of the person she had been searching for for centuries. She clutched the paper and tablet tightly and tried to walk without making a sound. It took her dozens of minutes on the evacuation stairs, but eventually she managed to enter the room she was looking for quietly and immediately locked it with her hairclip.
But after the girl locked the door and looked at the stairs, she sighed heavily, knowing she would have to climb the very long, winding stairs in a very dark room.
"This is going to take a lot of energy..."
The girl would just keep climbing the stairs, and the stairs would light up with every step she took. She didn't know that there would be so many new things in this room, that they were all part of one system, and this was her first time here, so it felt very mysterious.
Until she finally reached the top, she encountered a room full of stars on the glass ceiling. The girl was amazed by this room full of knowledge. Even though it was messy, not just anyone could enter a place as important as this. Only Verdina was lucky.
"... Umiko?"
"Hm?"
A woman's voice answered Verdinan's call. Verdinan immediately turned around and found the woman she had just called in a corner of the room filled with books and holographic projections. Without hesitation, she slowly walked towards Umiko.
"Is there anything new?"
Umiko asked Verdinan, who had approached her and sat down on a small sofa near Umiko's sofa. Verdinan nodded, prepared the documents she had brought for Umiko, placed them on the table along with his tablet, and put it on a stand so that Umiko could see it directly.
"Prince Central Lumiela, Central of Stars. He has been gone for several days after his ascension, but his traces are still there and he is still categorized as alive. From what I traced from the gods there, Prince Ghevi has transferred bodies."
Umiko raised her eyebrows, placed her book on the table, and read the contents of the report on the tablet provided by Verdinan. The photos and identity were quite complete, even including Ghevi's last trace. Umiko looked more closely at the latest photo of Ghevi, who was now Gheo. His hair and appearance had changed, only his height remained the same. Unexpectedly, Umiko's focus shifted from Gheo to the man behind him, who looked like Thareon. Umiko smiled softly after seeing Thareon in the latest photo of Ghevi.
"Umiko...?"
Verdinan looked at Umiko with confusion, she suddenly smiled without explanation, her smile was warm.
"I'm so grateful that he's alive… after what happened so long ago."
"Who?"
Verdinan moved closer to Umiko, curious about her story and the photo that made her smile so warmly.
"My husband, Thareon Demilato. We were separated by the three suns. I tried to end the situation that caused many planets to burn due to the appearance of three suns, but... well, because of my selfishness, it ended up separating us, and I couldn't go to his world because of the rejection of the natural system there... I really want to see him."
Verdinan felt empathy in his heart. She took Umiko's slightly warm hand and looked into her eyes gently and empathetically.
"I'm sure the two of you will be reunited soon..."
Silence filled the meaningful sky-like space around them. Verdinan tried to gently persuade Umiko with empathy. Verdinan was a good child to Umiko, and she would accept anything Umiko gave her, even if it was something invisible. Umiko smiled softly at Verdinan and accepted her warmth.
