The Goblin General, wasted no time, attacking with a full-powered swing. The dagger ripped through the air like it was tearing through fabric. It was fast, explosive, destructive.
Zane's eyes stayed pinned on that dagger. He dodged low; the blade went just above him, cutting the top of his hair. He looked up immediately after and lunged forward. He leaped into the air and stabbed at full speed.
The goblin used its arm and blocked the attack. Sparks flew as the blade scraped along the metal of the armor.
The goblin pulled back its arm with the dagger and attacked again, thrusting at full speed. Zane spun and dodged the attack. He immediately retreated a few steps.
Grey stood there. Despite the instructions Zane gave him, he was unable to move. In that short exchange they had, he didn't see even an opening to attack.
