Zane looked at Ava. "So you're saying there might be a place that has some information about vampires? And the Empire hasn't taken it down?" he asked, giving her a skeptical look.
"I found it by accident. Sure, if the Empire knew what to search for, they would find it, but they don't.
Vampires aren't just hated, you guys are used as stories to make even kids behave. For a long time, I thought demons were the worst race until I discovered you guys," Ava said.
"Hate can't exist for long without a reason. Someone must be silently pushing the hate of vampires," Lucy said.
"Makes sense. But for someone to push a hate for this long, then we must have really pissed them off," Zane said.
"Now that I've told you what I know, are you allowing me to come with you?" Ava asked.
"Your information was indeed useful. We have a target now, so yes, you can come with us," Zane said.
