I've seen some comments about the sudden POV shift without a disclaimer. That was a mistake on my part, and I want to sincerely apologize for the confusion. From this point forward, the novel will primarily remain in third-person POV. If I do shift into first-person POV at any point, I'll make sure to include a clear disclaimer beforehand. I've also gone back and edited the previous chapter to address this issue.
