"Not all who are drawn to your flame come to be warmed.
Some… come to burn you."

Location: Twilight Stone Ridge — one day after Heaven's descent
The land was still cracked.
Ash had faded into mist.
But the world hadn't moved on — it had only gone quiet.
Long Tian stood atop the ridge, wind brushing past his tattered robe, hand resting lightly on the space over his chest.
The Fifth Seal still pulsed beneath his skin — slower now. But deeper.
It's not done with me yet…
He'd slept three hours in two days.
And yet, his vision was sharper.
His senses… wider.
Each breath he took seemed to pull emotion from the air.
Every heartbeat echoed like a whisper.
---
Wu Jiao was nearby — but she kept her distance.
Ever since their night beneath Heaven's closing eye, she had been quiet.
Not distant.
Just… aware.
She knew what came next might not belong to her alone.
And that terrified her more than gods ever could.
---
Suddenly—
A pulse.
Not from the Sutra. Not from inside him.
But from far below.
A tremble.
A voice.
Soft. Unseen.
"So this… is the boy who made Heaven stutter."
Long Tian didn't move.
But his fingers flexed.
The Sutra glowed faintly.
And his shadow stretched unnaturally in the moonlight.
---
She Appeared
A woman walked toward him across the sky.
Not flying.
Walking.
Each step left a shimmer in the air, like her presence couldn't fully be held by the world.
Her robes were violet.
Her eyes half-lidded.
And her aura…
Long Tian's knees almost buckled.
It wasn't her power.
It was her feeling.
> Desire.
Ancient.
Star-born.
Like she'd felt millennia of want — and never once been denied.
---
"The Sutra called me," she said.
"And I answer what no heavens dare touch."
She was beautiful — unbearably so.
But wrong, in the way fire looks beautiful when it's burning your house down.
Wu Jiao appeared in a flash, stepping beside Long Tian.
"Who are you?"
The woman smiled, soft and sharp.
"I am the one who touched the Sixth Seal once… and lived."
"I'm here to help him do what I never could."
Her eyes fell on Long Tian like a caress.
"But only if he can handle what it will cost."
---
The Air Shifted
The sky dimmed.
The Sutra pulsed violently.
Wu Jiao clenched her fists — possessive. Protective.
But Long Tian… stepped forward.
Not toward the woman.
Toward the edge of himself.
If the Fifth Seal made Heaven blink…
Then the Sixth… might make it scream.
And part of him?
Wanted to hear that scream.
