Chapter 33 - “Whispers Across Dimensions: Her Awakening Begins”

The room was quiet… too quiet.

Aliyah crossed her arms, staring at Prizey with narrowed eyes.

"Okay, now tell me the truth," she said, her voice filled with suspicion.

"You were completely broken a while ago… and now suddenly you're fine? How?"

Prizey simply looked at her… and smiled.

A soft, unreadable smile.

"Nothing happened to me," she said lightly. "You know how I am… mood swings."

She turned away casually.

"And that Xavier— I mean… Simon— he's just annoying. Ignore him."

Aliyah froze.

"Wait…" her brows furrowed. "Why are you connecting Simon and Xavier?"

For a split second—

just a second—

Prizey's expression flickered.

But then she laughed it off.

"You're overthinking. There's nothing like that."

Aliyah was about to argue—

When suddenly—

A piercing scream echoed through the air.

Prizey's body went stiff.

Her eyes widened.

"…Did you hear that?"

Aliyah blinked.

"Hear what?"

Prizey turned to her in disbelief.

"Are you serious? That scream— it came from Aunt Sandra's room!"

Aliyah shook her head slowly.

"I didn't hear anything…"

But Prizey didn't wait.

Grabbing Aliyah's wrist, she rushed out of the room.

( Scene: Sandra's Room)..

The door slammed open.

Aunt Sandra lay unconscious on the floor.

"Aliyah, check her!" Prizey ordered instantly.

But then—

Something moved.

Outside the window.

A shadow.

Fast.

Unnatural.

Prizey's eyes snapped toward it.

"…Who are you?!"

Without thinking—

She ran.

(Scene: The Chase)

"Prizey, wait!!" Aliyah shouted behind her.

But Prizey didn't stop.

Didn't even look back.

Her heartbeat thundered as she followed the shadow—

faster… deeper… further—

Until—

She realized.

She wasn't in the city anymore.

( Scene: The Forest)....

Darkness.

Thick.

Heavy.

The kind that feels like it's watching you.

The wind whispered through the trees, carrying something… wrong.

But Prizey didn't flinch.

Instead—

She stepped forward.

Her voice cold. Fearless.

"Whoever you are… come out."

A pause.

Then she smirked slightly.

"Because if I find you first… I won't be gentle."

(The Attack)...

A sudden movement—

Behind her.

But before the strike could land—

Prizey spun instantly.

Her reflexes sharp.

She blocked it.

Barely.

And then—

She saw it.

Her breath hitched.

Not from fear…

But shock.

A creature stood before her.

Seven feet tall.

Its body twisted like a monstrous lizard—

dark red skin, jagged spikes running down its back, a long, whipping tail.

Its claws were massive.

Its teeth—razor sharp.

And its eyes…

Burning with hunger.

For a second—

Silence.

Then—

Prizey smiled.

A dangerous, excited smile.

"Oh wow…" she whispered.

"Now life is finally getting interesting."

(Short Fight Scene )...

The creature lunged.

Fast.

Too fast.

Prizey ducked just in time, rolling across the ground as its claws tore through the air where she had stood.

She grabbed a broken branch and swung—

CRACK!

It hit the creature's arm, but barely affected it.

The beast roared, swinging its tail—

It struck her side.

Hard.

She crashed into the ground, gasping.

Before she could fully recover—

SLASH—

Its claws cut across her arm.

Blood.

Warm.

Sharp pain.

Her breathing turned uneven.

Her strength… slipping.

The creature stepped closer.

Slow.

Predatory.

Ready to finish her.

(The Entrance )...

And then—

Light.

Blinding.

Explosive.

The air itself seemed to shatter.

And in the next heartbeat—

He was there.

Xavier.

His eyes burned with fury.

Not anger—

Rage.

The kind that destroys worlds.

In one swift motion—

He transformed.

A massive white wolf emerged—

glowing, powerful, unstoppable.

The creature froze.

For the first time—

It hesitated.

Because this—

This was no ordinary opponent.

( The Battle of Monsters)..

The wolf attacked.

No warning.

No mercy.

Xavier slammed into the creature with brutal force, sending it crashing into the trees.

A snarl ripped through the forest—deep, threatening.

The creature tried to retaliate—

But Xavier was faster.

Stronger.

Furious.

He bit into its shoulder—

Hard.

The creature screamed.

Xavier's claws tore into its chest, his movements wild yet precise.

This wasn't just a fight.

This was punishment.

For touching her.

For hurting her.

The forest echoed with roars, crashes, and the sound of destruction.

Trees shook.

Ground trembled.

And through it all—

Prizey watched.

Breathless.

Dizzy.

Heart racing.

Not from fear.

But from him.

Because she had never—

Never—

Seen Xavier like this.

(The Moment)..

The creature staggered back.

Wounded.

Defeated.

It let out a final growl—

And disappeared into the darkness.

Silence fell.

Heavy.

Electric.

Xavier stood there… still in wolf form.

Breathing hard.

His eyes slowly turned toward her.

And in that moment—

The rage melted.

Into something else.

Something softer.

Something… terrifyingly deep.

He walked toward her.

Slowly.

Carefully.

Then—

Right before her eyes—

He transformed back.

Human again.

But his eyes…

Still burning.

"Prizey…"

His voice was low.

Shaking.

Not with weakness—

But emotion.

He dropped to his knees in front of her.

His hands trembling as they reached for her injured arm.

"…You're hurt."

And for the first time—

The mighty wolf king looked…

Afraid.

( Scene: Between World)..

Xavier's eyes shimmered with unshed tears as he looked at her.

For a moment… the world stood still.

The fierce, unstoppable werewolf—who could tear through monsters without hesitation—stood there, fragile… just because of her.

Prizey noticed it.

Her expression softened.

Slowly, she lifted her hand and wiped the tears from beneath his eyes, her touch gentle… almost reverent.

"I'm okay, my dear…" she whispered softly, forcing a small smile.

"In fact… I actually enjoyed fighting that creature. It was my first real adventure."

Xavier let out a quiet, breathless laugh—one that didn't quite reach his eyes.

"I'm… I'm sorry, Prizey," he said, his voice heavy with guilt.

"I was late… If I had come on time, you wouldn't have been hurt."

Prizey just stared at him.

Not at the words.

At him.

The way he blamed himself.

The way his voice broke.

The way his strength melted in front of her.

"There's nothing to be sorry about," she said softly. "I'm fine… really. Just relax."

Xavier nodded slowly… but his eyes still carried the weight of fear he had felt.

Then suddenly—

"Close your eyes."

Prizey blinked.

"Why? What are you going to do?"

He didn't answer.

He just looked at her… silently, softly.

"Prize…" he murmured.

That one word was enough.

A small smile formed on her lips.

"Okay… okay, fine."

She closed her eyes.

The forest grew quieter around them.

The wind slowed… as if even nature was watching.

Xavier stepped closer.

He gently placed his hand over her injured arm… his touch warm, steady.

Then he closed his eyes.

A faint whisper of ancient words escaped his lips—soft, rhythmic… like a sacred chant.

The air around them shifted.

A faint glow spread beneath his hand… golden and calm.

Time seemed to blur.

And then—

Silence.

"Open your eyes."

Prizey slowly opened them…

Her gaze dropped to her arm.

The wound was gone.

Not even a scar remained.

No pain.

No blood.

Nothing.

Her eyes widened in pure amazement.

"Wow… how did you do that?"

Xavier smirked lightly, a hint of his usual confidence returning.

"You know… I have powers."

Prizey crossed her arms slightly, narrowing her eyes in playful annoyance.

"I'm your soulmate, right? Then why don't I have powers? I want them too."

Xavier chuckled softly.

"Oh, you do have powers…"

He stepped closer, his voice dropping into something deeper… more meaningful.

"More than me. Much more."

Prizey frowned, confused.

"What do you mean? 'More than you'? When will I get them?"

Xavier looked at her… not teasing this time.

Serious.

Gentle.

"Don't be stubborn, Prizey. It's not time yet."

She pouted slightly.

"Promise me you're telling the truth."

He tilted his head.

"You don't trust me?"

"I do… but still. Promise."

Xavier smiled faintly.

"Okay… I promise."

He lifted her hand slowly… holding it between his palms.

"Your powers are already inside you," he whispered.

"You just need to discover them."

Prizey stared at him… still confused… but something inside her felt it.

That he wasn't lying.

That something within her… was waiting.

Then suddenly—

Xavier's expression changed.

"We need to leave. This place… it belongs to creatures. Not us."

Prizey blinked.

"Wait… what?"

She looked around.

The forest felt different now.

Darker.

Heavier.

"But… I ran here from home. I didn't take any flight or something!"

Xavier burst out laughing.

"Seriously, Prizey? Even in this situation, you're joking?"

She frowned.

"But I'm serious! I don't even know how I got here!"

Xavier looked at her with a knowing smile.

"Well… congratulations."

She blinked again.

"For what?"

"You just unlocked your first power."

Prizey froze.

"…What?"

Xavier stepped closer, his eyes gleaming.

"Teleportation."

Her breath hitched.

"You crossed from the human world… into the creature world… without even realizing it."

Silence.

The weight of his words settled slowly.

Prizey looked around again—this time differently.

The shadows.

The air.

The silence.

Everything felt… unreal.

"…I… I don't understand."

Xavier smiled softly.

"You don't have to."

He extended his hand toward her.

"Not yet."

Xavier exhaled slowly, his gaze still fixed on her—as if reassuring himself she was truly safe.

"You know…" he began quietly, his voice carrying a trace of guilt,

"I was in the real world… while you were here."

He paused, his jaw tightening slightly.

"That's why I couldn't sense you immediately. We were in different timelines… different dimensions."

His eyes darkened with the memory.

"But the moment I stopped… and focused on the creature instead—"

he looked at her intensely,

"I felt you. Here. With it."

A soft breath escaped him.

"And then… I came. To save my life."

His voice dropped to a whisper.

"If I had just been a little earlier… everything would've been perfect."

Prizey stared at him, her eyes wide with awe instead of fear.

"Wow…"

Xavier blinked, completely caught off guard.

"Wait… wow?" he said, almost in disbelief. "Prize, aren't you scared?"

A slow, confident smirk curved her lips.

"Scared? Me? Never."

She crossed her arms slightly, lifting her chin.

"Humans are much stronger than any creature."

Xavier's lips curled into a soft smile, amused and impressed.

"So… you still consider yourself human?"

Prizey shrugged lightly.

"Well… for now, I am human."

Her eyes sparkled mischievously.

"Later… we'll see what I become."

Xavier chuckled under his breath, shaking his head.

"Now I understand why Grandpa chose you… over every powerful werewolf out there."

He stepped closer, his voice soft but filled with admiration.

"You really have the strength to hold two worlds together."

Prizey's expression softened.

Slowly, she looked down at her own hands… as if seeing them differently for the first time.

As if wondering… what they were truly capable of.

Xavier's tone shifted again—serious now.

"Prize… we need to go. Please. Listen to me."

She nodded without argument this time.

As he stepped forward to lift her into his arms—

"Wait, wait, wait!"

He paused, raising an eyebrow.

"Yes?"

A playful spark returned to her eyes.

"We're going back using teleportation, right?"

Xavier nodded.

"Exactly."

Prizey's face lit up instantly.

"Okay, done! I'll use teleportation!"

Xavier blinked once—

—and then burst into laughter.

Prizey's eyes narrowed.

"Don't laugh! I'm serious, Xavier!"

He tried to control himself, biting his lip.

"Alright… alright. Let's see."

Determined, Prizey stepped forward.

She raised both her arms dramatically into the air… closed her eyes tightly…

And started making random mystical gestures—like a witch summoning ancient forces.

The wind moved slightly.

Leaves rustled.

And Xavier… was barely holding himself together.

Then suddenly—her words begin....

"Shaka laka boom boom!"

Silence.

Nothing happened.

For one second—

Two seconds—

And then—

Xavier completely lost it.

He burst into uncontrollable laughter, doubling over slightly.

Prizey opened one eye.

Then the other.

Realization hit.

Her face fell.

"…It didn't work."

She looked down, disappointment washing over her.

Xavier immediately stopped laughing.

The shift in her expression… hit him harder than anything.

"Hey… hey…"

He stepped closer, gently lifting her chin.

Then softly… he pressed a kiss to her forehead.

"Don't be sad, Prize."

His voice was warm… reassuring.

"You know, it was exactly the same for me in the beginning."

He smiled softly.

"And now? I do it without even thinking."

He brushed a strand of hair from her face.

"So don't lose heart, my dear. You'll feel your powers very soon. I promise."

Prizey nodded slowly…

But the sparkle in her eyes hadn't fully returned yet.

Seeing that—

Xavier pulled her into his arms, holding her close.

Tightly.

Protectively.

And then—

In the very next heartbeat—

The world blurred.

Light twisted around them.

Reality folded.

And with a single blink—

They were gone.

( Scene Shift: Back to the Real World)...

The cold air of the human world wrapped around them once again.

Familiar.

Safe.

But something had changed.

Because now—

Prizey wasn't just a girl anymore.

She was something more.

Something… awakening.

(Scene: Echoes Across Worlds)....

The moment they returned—

Reality felt… normal again.

Too normal.

The cold night air brushed against Prizey's skin, but before she could even process where she was—

Her eyes widened suddenly.

"Xavier—wait!"

Her voice carried urgency now.

"Aunt Sandra…!"

Xavier turned toward her, instantly alert.

"What about her?"

Prizey stepped closer, her thoughts racing.

"That creature… it ran from Aunt Sandra's room. And I heard her scream—loudly."

She paused, her brows furrowing.

"But the strange thing is… Aliyah was right beside me, and she didn't hear anything. Not a single sound."

Xavier's expression darkened.

"And when we reached the room…" she continued softly,

"You already know what happened next."

Xavier exhaled slowly, trying to keep her calm.

"Okay… okay. Just relax, Prize."

But she shook her head.

"No. We need to go back. Now."

Xavier's tone turned firm.

"No. You need to go."

She blinked.

"What?"

"I'll follow," he said gently. "But right now, you go. Stay with them."

For a moment, she hesitated.

Then slowly nodded.

"…Alright."

Xavier stepped closer, his voice soft but filled with quiet promise.

"Don't forget… I'm with you. Always."

His eyes locked with hers.

"Any danger that comes your way… will have to go through me first."

A faint smile touched her lips.

She stepped forward and hugged him tightly.

"Okay… I'll go."

In the next second—

A soft shimmer of light surrounded her—

And she disappeared.

( Scene Shift: Aunt Sandra's House)..

Prizey appeared just outside the house—

and without wasting a second, she rushed inside.

Her heartbeat echoed loudly in her ears as she ran toward Aunt Sandra's room.

She pushed the door open—

And froze.

Aunt Sandra was still lying on the bed… unconscious.

Aliyah and Max were beside her, worried but unaware of anything unusual.

Prizey blinked.

Confused.

That's… impossible…

She had been gone for so long.

Different world. Different timeline.

Yet—

For them…

Nothing had changed.

Only a few minutes had passed.

Aliyah quickly walked up to her.

"Prizey! Where did you go? You ran after something and came back so quickly!"

Prizey stared at her in disbelief.

"Just… five minutes?"

Aliyah frowned slightly.

"Yeah… why? What happened?"

Prizey forced herself to stay calm.

"I'll tell you everything… at the right time."

She looked toward Aunt Sandra, her expression turning serious.

"But first… we need to take care of her."

( Scene Shift: The Secret Cave)

Flames flickered softly against the stone walls.

Xavier stood in front of his grandfather and Master Shifu, tension visible in his posture.

"Grandpa… what is happening?" he asked.

"Why are those creatures after Prizey? I'm their enemy… not her."

The Ex-King's gaze turned sharp.

"Exactly."

A pause.

"You are their enemy… but Prizey is your soul."

Xavier stilled.

"And don't forget," his grandfather continued,

"among all of us… she holds the greatest power."

Xavier frowned.

"But she doesn't even know her powers yet. How will she fight them?"

Master Shifu stepped forward, his voice calm yet powerful.

"You forget, Xavier…"

"She carries the essence of a ghost… and a fairy."

He looked straight into Xavier's eyes.

"And now… after being bound to you…"

"…she carries the power of a werewolf as well."

Xavier's breath caught.

"Wow…"

But Shifu wasn't done.

"And her greatest strength?" he said softly.

"Her will… and her fearless heart."

He turned slightly.

"With that alone… she could destroy an entire world."

Silence filled the cave.

Xavier swallowed.

"Then… when will she awaken?"

His grandfather answered this time.

"When she understands her responsibility…"

A pause.

"And when she realizes why she was sent into this world."

Then his gaze sharpened.

"And you… will help her understand."

Xavier nodded slowly.

"As you say, Grandpa."

( Scene Shift: Sofi's Room)..

Sofi paced back and forth, arms crossed, lost in her thoughts.

"Could it be…?" she muttered to herself.

"Is Prizey… in a relationship with Simon?"

She scoffed lightly.

"No… that's impossible. Prizey doesn't even believe in love. She would reject him for sure…"

But suddenly—

A loud noise came from the washroom.

She froze.

Her heartbeat spiked.

"…Who's there?"

Slowly… cautiously… she walked toward the door.

The handle creaked as she pushed it open—

And the moment her eyes landed inside—

A blood-curdling scream tore from her throat.

( Scene: The Connection)....

Back at Aunt Sandra's house—

Prizey suddenly froze.

Her body stiffened.

Her eyes widened.

"Sofiiiiiiii!!"

The scream escaped her lips before she could stop it.

Because somehow—

She had heard it.
