Chapter 21 - "The Play, The Winning, The Wolf's kiss."

Scene: Team Sandra – Titanic (College Performance)

The stage dimmed. A soft blue light flooded the backdrop as the haunting melody of "My Heart Will Go On" began to play.

A massive cardboard "ship" slowly rolled to the center of the stage, complete with hand-painted railings and fluttering white sails. Two students, dressed as Jack and Rose, stepped out onto the deck, with dramatic wind machines blowing their hair wildly (or trying to).

Rose (student actress):

"Jack, I feel like I'm flying!"

(She spreads her arms wide at the ship's edge. The audience lets out soft gasps and giggles as Jack pretends to hold her from behind.)

Jack (trying to stay serious):

"You are, Rose… you are."

(Then he dramatically leans forward, almost toppling over, causing a few snorts of laughter from the crowd.)

Just as they lean in for the famous kiss, the stage lights flicker red.

SFX: Ship horn... followed by a loud crashing sound!

A guy dressed in a shimmery silver fish costume runs across the stage yelling,

"ICEBERG AHEAD!!"

(Another student in a giant white cardboard triangle dramatically bumps into the ship.)

Captain (student):

"ABANDON SHIP! EVERYONE INTO THE WATER!"

Suddenly, chaos erupts on stage — students jump off "deck" onto mats, someone flails in a pool of blue bedsheets, and Jack melodramatically "sinks" while clutching a foam board labeled "DOOR."

Jack (gasping):

"Never let go, Rose…"

Rose:

"I'll never let go…"

(She lets go.)

Audience burst in laughter crazily.

Lights dim, and the crowd erupts in cheers and laughter at the hilariously dramatic ending.

Principal:

Scene: Romeo & Juliet (College Performance)

The lights shift again—now deep red and gold. Curtains draw back to reveal a balcony made of painted cardboard, with roses dangling from above.

A dreamy tune plays as Juliet, wearing a flowy white gown, walks onto the "balcony," sighing dramatically.

Juliet:

"O Romeo, Romeo… wherefore art thou, Romeo?"

From below, Romeo appears, wearing a puffy shirt, a flower crown, and sneakers (oops).

He tries to climb the balcony but stumbles halfway.

Romeo (grunting):

"I art here, my lady… Just… wait… hang on…"

(The crowd chuckles.)

Juliet (whispers):

"The ladder's behind the curtains…"

Romeo (stage-whispering):

"Right. I knew that."

He climbs up (barely) and kneels before her, taking her hand.

Romeo:

"With love's light wings did I o'erperch these walls…"

Suddenly, Tybalt (student) storms onstage holding a plastic sword.

Tybalt:

"Romeo! Thou art a villain!"

Romeo (yells):

"Villain? Bro, I just climbed a whole wall for love!"

Audience laughs again, but the scene quickly turns emotional.

Juliet drops her head in sorrow.

Juliet (softly):

"Then I am yours… in this life… and the next…"

The music slows, and Romeo & Juliet drink "poison" from paper goblets marked with skulls. They dramatically fall, arms outstretched.

Rozy (in audience, loudly whispering):

"Now that's how you die in love."

Audience:

Awww followed by loud clapping and whistles.

Lights fade, curtain drops.

After the Romeo & Juliet Performance

The hall still echoed with the last, tragic lines of Romeo & Juliet. The actors took their bows, the audience applauded with heartfelt admiration, and a wave of silence followed—a silence that held emotion, like a whisper of something lost and beautiful.

Amidst the crowd, Prizey stood still.

Her eyes were glossy, locked on the stage where the curtains slowly closed. She blinked once… and then spoke, her voice low, fragile.

Prizey (softly):

"Well… at least they got to experience true love. Even if it was just for a little while… they still had it."

Her words trembled, and the faintest crack broke through her voice. A single tear rolled down her cheek before she could stop it.

The group around her turned to look—surprised and quiet. No one expected Prizey, the fearless leader, to look so vulnerable.

And then—without a word—Simon stepped forward.

He gently brushed the tear from her cheek, his touch light… yet protective.

Simon (smiling softly):

"Hey... maybe true love is still waiting for you. Who knows… it might just be with some mysterious creature. For example… a wolf?"

He wiggled his eyebrows in playful mischief.

Everyone burst into laughter, and even Prizey let out a watery chuckle. But she still glared at him through teary eyes.

Prizey (punching his arm lightly):

"You seriously only know how to talk nonsense, don't you?"

Simon winced dramatically, clutching his arm.

Simon (teasing):

"Aghh—wait and watch, you'll see what I do with this punch next time!"

Prizey rolled her eyes but smiled, warmth slowly returning to her face—just enough to hide the ache that still lingered in her heart.

Scene: Showtime – The Conjuring Begins

Backstage, the team was huddled in a circle, a thick energy of excitement and nervousness buzzing around them. Prizey stood in the center, her hands raised like a true leader, eyes blazing with confidence.

Prizey:

"Alright, everyone, listen up! We've prepared for this with pure dedication—every scream, every shadow, every scene. So believe in yourselves, okay? We are the winners—so let's go out there and own that stage!"

Everyone (in unison):

"Okay!!"

Suddenly, the loudspeakers crackled to life and the principal's voice echoed through the auditorium.

Principal (excitedly):

"And now… time for something completely different! Our next performance is by Team Prizey, who've brought something truly unique to the table. I must say… this is the first team that's dared to prepare something out of the ordinary—and that's impressive!"

The hall burst into loud cheers and applause. The moment Prizey's name was announced, the audience erupted even louder—hooting, clapping, whistling. It was no surprise. Prizey wasn't just a performer—she was everyone's crush. The entire college adored her.

Backstage, she blinked, wide-eyed.

Prizey (whispering):

"Oh. My. God…"

Simon (grinning):

"We haven't even done anything yet, and you're already this famous? Wow."

Just then, Max leaned over and patted Simon's shoulder.

Max:

"Dude, it's all because of Prizey—and her iconic idea. Seriously, she's the whole reason this is going viral."

He added with a teasing smirk,

"And come on, she's the official crush of the whole college."

Simon chuckled… but inwardly, his jaw tightened.

Simon (in his thoughts):

"Aghhh… my love… if only they knew how many hearts are going to break the day you officially become mine."

The stage lights dimmed. The audience grew quiet.

The performance began—

"Conjuring: The Haunted House."

The hall fell into eerie silence, fog rolling across the stage, and the haunting tale unfolded.

The Conjuring – A Haunted Stage Unleashed

(Inspired by the true events of the Perron family and Ed & Lorraine Warren)

The auditorium fell into a heavy silence. The curtains parted slowly, revealing a flickering, candle-lit Victorian set: cobwebs in the corners, a cradle eerily creaking by itself. The air held tension—something was watching.

John (Narrator – based on Ed Warren's documented files):

> "In 1971, in a secluded farmhouse in Rhode Island, a family's life unraveled at the hands of a dark, forgotten spirit… This is the story of Bathsheba."

Aliyah as Carolyn Perron (the mother) sat hunched by the cradle, her hands trembling as she rocked the baby doll—playing the role of April Perron.

Max as Roger Perron (the father) nailed invisible boards to the windows, pretending to keep "something" out.

Aliyah (shaking):

> "They're here again, Max… I felt her standing behind me... watching…"

Suddenly—

Sonia (as Andrea Perron) screamed from upstairs, clutching the railing.

Lina and Rosy as Nancy and Christine Perron followed, panic-stricken.

Sonia:

> "She pulled my hair! She whispered something... in my ear!"

Rosy (whimpering):

> "And the baby... she's crying again, Mom... but I was just holding her!"

Cue the terrifying strings music...

Enter Prizey and Simon—dressed as paranormal investigators Lorraine and Ed Warren.

They stepped onto the fog-drenched stage with a torch and a grim expression. Prizey's face carried the elegance and strength of Lorraine, while Simon radiated the calm but mysterious aura of Ed Warren. The crowd held their breath.

Prizey (confidently):

> "We're from the Demonology Department. We've seen cases like this before... but this one feels different."

Simon's eyes faintly glowed golden as his supernatural instincts flared. In that moment, hidden beneath Prizey's shirt, her wolf mark began to shimmer faintly—a silent echo of her deeper connection to a world beyond human.

Suddenly, Louis, playing Bathsheba Sherman (the spirit), appeared—her body jerking unnaturally, possessed and twisted. Black lipstick smeared down her chin, eyes rolled back. The audience gasped.

Louis (in a guttural demonic tone):

> "You brought them into my house?!"

Lights flickered violently.

Conjuring: Haunted Stage – Reactions After the Simon's teleported.

The moment Simon vanished into thin air—one second on the left of the stage, the next appearing behind Bathsheba—the audience gasped in disbelief.

A collective "WHAAAAT?!" erupted from the back rows. Phones slipped from hands. Mouths fell open.

Audience Girl 1 (whispering):

> "Did you see that?! Was that a magic trick?! HOW DID HE DO THAT?!"

Audience Boy 2 (yelling):

> "Bro teleported like a ghost hunter superhero! This ain't acting anymore!"

In the front row, the Principal stood up so fast her chair clattered behind her.

Her eyes were wide—half shocked, half amazed.

Principal (to Vice Principal, stunned):

> "This is... this is not in the script. Did they install special effects?! Who gave clearance for this level of performance?!"

The judges seated at the corner table exchanged looks—scribbling rapidly on their score sheets with awe.

Meanwhile, Team Sandra, waiting backstage, peeked through the curtain.

Sandra (whispers):

> "How the heck are we supposed to beat that?! Their Simon guy literally vanished and reappeared like it was a Marvel movie!"

Her teammate (nervously):

> "Forget Marvel—he growled like a freaking alpha wolf! Did you see his eyes? THEY GLOWED!"

Back on stage—when Simon roared the Latin exorcism, showing his sharp, gleaming wolf fangs, and Louis flew back—the entire auditorium exploded in chaos.

Everyone stood up.

Some clapped.

Some screamed.

Some were so into it, they cried.

And others? They were just frozen, like they'd witnessed something... not human.

Aliyah (still acting, but breaking character slightly):

> "That... that felt real…"

Max (under his breath):

> "It was."

(Back to the play..)

The moment Simon vanished into the thin air, behind Bathsheba, whispering Latin banishment chants. A flash of his real wolf fangs glinted under the spotlight as he faced the spirit with deadly calm.

Simon (low growl):

> "Begone, demon... your time is over."

Prizey clutched her stomach in pain as the mark flared like moonlight. She stepped forward with fearless poise, her expression echoing Lorraine's strength.

Aliyah (as Carolyn), trembling:

> "Save my family... please..."

Simon (whispering to Prizey):

> "Stay close... Your light burns through her darkness."

With a burst of supernatural energy—Simon extended his arm. A real gust of wind swept across the set. Louis was thrown backward, flying dramatically into a pile of rocking chairs as part of the exorcism.

John (narrating):

> "And so, the spirit was cast back into the void—defeated by a bond not even hell could sever."

The family huddled close. The Warrens—Prizey and Simon—stood still, her mark still softly glowing, his breathing heavy. It was more than a performance. It was a moment.

Simon (softly to Prizey):

> "You okay?"

Prizey (gently):

> "Yeah… But what are you?"

Simon just smiled. The curtain fell. The lights went dark.

Then, the thunder of applause shattered the silence. Standing ovation. Cheers. Whistles. The stage had never felt so alive.

When the curtains closed, the entire team rushed to Simon and Prizey.

Rosy (hugging Simon):

> "That was EPIC! How did you do that jump?! And the lights? The wind?! That felt like actual spirits were here!"

Lina (eyes sparkling):

> "You just made our play legendary. I think you scared half the crowd for real!"

Sonia (grinning):

> "Simon, you're not just playing a supernatural investigator. You are one!"

Prizey stood slightly apart, still feeling the soft tingling from her glowing mark.

She looked at Simon with narrowed eyes—equal parts curiosity and suspicion.

Prizey (quietly):

> "You're hiding something."

Simon gave her that lopsided smirk, wiping fake blood from his sleeve.

Simon (teasing):

> "Me? Nah. Just great acting, remember?

Sweetheart!'

But deep inside, something had changed. For her. For him. For everyone who had just witnessed it.

And when the Principal walked up on stage to announce the results—

Principal (booming):

> "Ladies and gentlemen... I have never seen a performance like this. If I didn't know better, I'd say we were at a real exorcism. Bravo, Team Prizey. You didn't just act. You possessed the stage."

Audience (chanting):

> "Prizey! Simon! Prizey! Simon!"

And just like that... the Conjuring play wasn't just a college event anymore.

It became a legend.

The Grand Reveal & Celebration – After the Conjuring Play

Principal (addressing the crowd):

> "Although every single person present here gave their best with full dedication... and I appreciate each of your hard work…

But—Team Prizey's performance was something mind-blowing.

It wasn't just acting… it was pure suspense, pure immersion.

And the iconic moment when Simon, playing Ed Warren, suddenly teleported on stage—was just... unreal."

He turns toward Simon.

> "Mr. Simon, we would love to know... how did you do that?"

Simon walks confidently to the mic, adjusting his collar. His eyes—unknowingly—search for her in the crowd. Then he speaks, half proud, half soft.

Simon (smirking):

> "Well, the credit goes to my Prizey—oh wait, I mean… our team leader."

 Audience and Team Reaction:

 Instantly, the entire hall reacts.

A loud collective "Oooooooohhhh!" echoes from the crowd.

Prizey's friends—Aliyah and Rozy—start laughing, nudging each other like crazy.

Max whistles dramatically, leaning into John:

> "Bro just confessed on stage in front of the principal!"

Lina gasps, eyes wide:

> "Did he just say MY Prizey?!"

Even the principal lifts his eyebrows, amused, trying to stifle a grin.

Meanwhile, Prizey's face turns a deep shade of pink.

She covers her mouth, looking away—partly shy, partly flustered.

But somewhere in her chest, her heart skips a beat…

Simon quickly recovers, chuckling nervously:

> "She told us to make every move feel real and unique, so the audience would be left wondering—'Wait... how did they do that?!'

And the rest?

Well… it's a secret."

(He gives a playful wink.)

The principal starts laughing, shaking his head.

Principal (grinning):

> "Well, we'll respect Simon's secret… and his slip of tongue too, hmm?"

(The crowd bursts out laughing again.)

But now… it's time to announce the winner!"

He opens the results envelope.

> "And the winners are...

Team Prizey!"

The crowd erupts into cheers.

Team Prizey members leap from their seats, hugging each other in pure excitement.

The principal invites them on stage for the awards.

As everyone rushes toward the stage, Simon gently holds Prizey's hand.

Simon (softly):

> "Please… don't pull away.

Just for tonight… let me hold your hand."

Prizey glances at him… and gives a soft, hesitant smile.

Simon's heart skips a beat.

For a moment, he can't believe it's real.

On stage, the Mayor of the city hands over the award trophies.

Mayor (to the crowd):

> "And to those teams who couldn't win today—don't be sad.

Your colleges have a special surprise for you…

You all are going on a college-sponsored trip!"

The hall explodes again in joy.

Laughing, dancing, music echoing through the buildings.

Scene: Max's House – Victory Celebration Party (Evening)

The living room sparkles with fairy lights and warm laughter. Loud music plays, snacks are everywhere, and everyone from Prizey's team is celebrating their big win.

Aliyah enters, holding two cold drinks. She spots Prizey standing alone in a quiet corner near the window, lost in thought.

Aliyah (grinning):

> "Sooo… 'my Prizey', hmm?

Want me to get that printed on a t-shirt for Simon?"

Prizey chokes slightly on her drink, glaring at her friend.

Prizey (muttering):

> "Oh shut up…"

Rozy (joining in, laughing):

> "Girl, the way he said it—like he was about to propose on stage!"

*'My Prizey… oh wait, OUR team leader'."

(She mimics Simon dramatically. Everyone laughs.)

---

Scene Shift: Backyard – Later That Night

Prizey steps outside for some fresh air, the stars shimmering above. Her mind still spins with memories—Simon's teleportation, the glowing mark on her hand, and... that unexpected kiss.

Just then, Simon walks out quietly, holding a small chocolate bar.

Simon (softly):

> "Still thinking about the teleportation trick?"

Prizey turns around, surprised.

Prizey:

> "Maybe… Or maybe about you suddenly saying my Prizey in front of the entire hall."

Simon chuckles, stepping closer.

Simon:

> "Well… wasn't lying."

Prizey looks at him, heart thudding.

Simon gently takes her hand and guides her a little away from the lights.

Simon (gazing at her):

> "Prizey… do you remember the night I came to your house?

You saw me from the balcony… remember?"

Prizey blinks, then slowly places a hand on her head.

Prizey (whispering):

> "So… it wasn't a dream?"

"That night… I saw something else too. A creature—creepy and terrifying with glowing red eyes.

Before she can finish her sentence, Simon cups her face and kisses her on her rose Patels lips.

A deep, emotional kiss—full of mystery, hunger, and full of love and also express Simon's thirst for her..

A slow thirty - seconds kiss beneath the moonlight.

Time seems to stop.

Prizey's eyes are shut, breathing fast, heart racing.

Simon gently brushes her hair behind her ear.

And with that…

Simon turns and disappears into the night, leaving Prizey breathless under the moonlight.
