The three girls and Nash stood facing Saya.
Saya looked really bad. Her clothes were completely dirty, covered in gray dust and old grease stains. Her hair looked like a messy bird's nest falling over her face. She was very pale, her cheeks hollow because she hadn't been eating or sleeping.
Her eyes were swollen from crying for hours. Her lips were dry, cracked, and trembling. But the strangest thing was her left hand. Without realizing it, she was gripping her lower stomach tightly, as if she wanted to protect, or destroy, something inside her.
Sarra and Lina went completely stiff when they saw her. They had never seen anyone so sad and miserable in their lives. It made them very uncomfortable. Sarra took a big step back and grabbed Nash's jacket.
"Nash…" Sarra whispered in a shaky voice. "Who… who is that girl? Why is she looking at you like that?"
