Jaz just stood there, dead quiet. Her heart was thumping so loudly that she swore Jinzo could probably hear it too.
Sweat or steam, who could tell at this point, burned up her cheeks, chest, everywhere. This feeling, all jittery and weird, like she'd drunk three energy drinks but still needed to move.
She glanced at Jinzo, side-eyeing him, expecting him to say something, do something. He'd heard everything too, every last bit of it. No way he was just gonna stand there like a statue, right?
Her uniform was soaked from the shower, sticking everywhere, so she yanked the shirt up and off. Screw it, she was done feeling weird about it. She figured that would wake him up, get him out of his daze.
She squinted at him, and then it hit her.
Jinzo wasn't budging. His jaw looked like it might snap. Sure, his shorts were telling a pretty obvious story, but his whole vibe screamed "nope." Not moving a muscle.
