With a towel in one hand and a bottle of shampoo in the other, Alice walked down the short hallway of the second floor.
In that moment, she felt a slight breeze coming from under the door of Kael's room and came to a hasty stop.
"Kael…?"
She immediately swung the door open, for the first time in weeks, and saw the same old dark room without anyone inside.
It made her disappointed for a second, but then she saw the open window and went there to close it.
"Mom probably wanted to let some fresh air in…"
She said, pushed the window down, and locked it before heading out of the room, closing the door behind her.
The room turned dark once again.
