"Ugh…"
Kael pinched his forehead and looked away from the books as he started to feel a headache from staring at so many words.
He finished reading all the books, learned something new, and also kept trying to create the rubber bullet.
While he wasn't successful just yet, he was feeling that he'd made some progress because he could imagine the rubber bullet better inside his mind.
"I need a drink."
Kael left his room and went to a kitchen wing that was close to the rooms and poured himself a glass of water.
It was from the water taken from the well in the town, and when the water touched his tongue, it tasted strangely refreshing.
"Cough! Cough!"
At that moment, he heard some coughing and saw that there was a person sitting by a table, right beside the open window.
It was Jeff, coughing against his fist, and he really didn't look good.
"Is everything alright?"
Kael also poured him a drink, gave him the cup of water, and sat across from him.
