Chapter 127 - Chapter 126: I invite Kasumigaoka Lawyer to protect me!

[Touji.]: "[Image]!"

[Touji.]: "[Image]!"

"..."

[Touji.]: "Utaha, have you eaten yet?"

In the softly lit, intimately romantic ambiance of Sky Restaurant 634, at their coveted window seat overlooking a galaxy of city lights, Kasumigaoka Touji sent a few select photos from their day—the aquarium's jellyfish, the panoramic sunset from the Tembo Deck, a cute selfie of the two of them—to Kasumigaoka Utaha. After a moment, he added the casual follow-up question.

He didn't know what she was doing at that moment. The reply came a few minutes later.

[Kasumi Utako]: "Has Nii-san finally remembered that he has a sister?"

Words were truly magical. Even through text, a palpable wave of elegant, long-suffering resentment washed over him.

[Touji.]: "What are you talking about? I haven't forgotten you for a second. I even got you a souvenir, (﹁﹁)."

Kasumigaoka Touji deployed his best appeasing tone (in text form).

It worked. Her attention was successfully diverted.

[Kasumi Utako]: "A souvenir? What is it?"

A plush toy… won at a claw machine… that your rival helped win… Kasumigaoka Touji suddenly found the explanation a bit difficult to articulate. He decided it would be wiser to purchase a more proper, deliberate gift later before heading home.

Thus, he replied evasively—

[Touji.]: "You'll find out tomorrow. It's a surprise."

[Kasumi Utako]: "Fufu… Then I shall look forward to it. Have the two of you had dinner yet?"

[Touji.]: "Not yet, but the food is arriving now."

Just as he sent the message, a waiter from Sky Restaurant 634, dressed in impeccable black and white, arrived at their table with silent grace, presenting their first course. The restaurant primarily specialized in French cuisine, with a focus on seasonal ingredients. However, at the very back of the dining area, separated by a glass partition, was an exclusive teppanyaki counter with only eight seats—the true VIP section.

Kasumigaoka Touji had initially tried to book that. He'd been told, politely but firmly, that those eight seats were reserved solidly through Golden Week. There was nothing to be done. He'd had to "settle" for their current window seat.

In truth, it was no settlement at all. The view from here was spectacular—a direct, unobstructed vista of Tokyo's glittering nightscape. Aside from the interactive theatre of the teppanyaki chef, the food quality was comparable. The atmosphere here, with its dim lighting, soft jazz, and intimate tables, was arguably more romantic.

"..."

[Kasumi Utako]: "Then, you two should enjoy your meal. Don't let me interrupt."

Kasumigaoka Utaha was being very sensible, and Kasumigaoka Touji shared the sentiment. Playing on his phone during a romantic dinner would be disrespectful to Kani Nayuta.

He replied with a simple 'Hai, mata ne' (Yes, talk later), set his phone to silent face-down on the table, and turned his full attention to his date. Kani Nayuta had been gazing out at the city lights, a soft smile on her lips.

"Oii, come on, let's see what this famous restaurant has to offer," he said, drawing her focus back to their table.

"Hai!" Kani Nayuta had been waiting for him to start. Hearing his call, she responded happily, clasped her hands together with a soft "Itadakimasu," and picked up her polished silver cutlery.

Her appetizer was a Bacon Cheese Mushroom Roll. It was a deceptively simple dish: thick slices of fresh mushroom wrapped in smoky bacon, generously dusted with sharp parmesan cheese, then slow-roasted until the bacon was crisped to perfection and the cheese had melted into a golden, bubbling crust. The combination of savory bacon, rich cheese, and the earthy, juicy mushroom created a powerful, decadent umami punch that immediately awakened the palate.

"Umai—! This is so delicious!" Kani Nayuta praised, her eyes widening with genuine pleasure after her first bite.

"Let me have a taste, too," Kasumigaoka Touji said, leaning slightly across the table. He opened his mouth expectantly. "Aaaan~."

Kani Nayuta's eyes sparkled as she looked at him. A mischievous, thrilling idea popped into her head. She wanted to claim a privilege she'd seen Kasumigaoka Utaha-senpai enjoy—that of being fed, but with her own twist.

She carefully cut a perfect, steaming piece of the bacon-wrapped mushroom, speared it with her fork, and held it aloft. A playful, challenging smile touched her lips.

"Call me Onee-san… Call me Onee-san, and I'll give it to you."

Kasumigaoka Touji immediately looked at her with an expression of feigned, exaggerated shock. He didn't dislike this little game at all. From a purely chronological standpoint, she was a year older than him…

He let a hint of playful neediness enter his voice. "Onee-san… I wanna eat~." He even added a slight, bashful blush for effect.

Squeeze.

Kani Nayuta unconsciously pressed her thighs together under the table. A subtle, electric thrill shot through her, a mix of excitement, power, and intimacy. He actually did it!

"Yoshi yoshi! Good boy, Winter-kun!" she cooed, her voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper as she gently fed him the morsel.

The act, the title, the secret shared across the table… it ignited a bolder spark within her. She held back for all of three seconds before the impulse became irresistible.

Under the shelter of the pristine white tablecloth, she slowly extended her leg. The toe of her boot made contact with his calf, then began a slow, deliberate rub.

Kasumigaoka Touji was genuinely surprised by her sudden boldness. He wasn't sure what had unlocked this side of her—the altitude, the romance, the "Onee-san" dynamic—but he wasn't complaining. A responsive restlessness stirred within him as well.

The only slight pity was the seating arrangement. Sitting face-to-face made more… direct… countermeasures difficult. They were limited to this clandestine ballet under the table, paired with the innocent act of feeding each other bites of food above it.

It created a delicious, dual-layered intimacy. They conversed about the food and the view, their forks meeting in the middle of the table, while below, a silent, escalating dialogue of touch played out between their entwined legs.

Consciously or not, both found themselves eating a little faster.

After settling the substantial bill and exiting the refined atmosphere of Sky Restaurant 634, Kasumigaoka Touji didn't waste a second. The moment they were in a relatively quiet corner of the hallway, he pulled Kani Nayuta into his arms.

"So, Silver-Haired Onee-san," he murmured, his voice a low rumble near her ear. "Care to explain your… conduct during dinner?"

"Eh? Did I do something?" Her long, silver eyelashes fluttered innocently. She looked up at him with wide, guileless blue eyes, the picture of misunderstood virtue.

"Confess your crimes to the judge. Sophistry is useless here," he declared, holding her even tighter.

It wasn't the place for serious retribution—too public, with a steady flow of people and security cameras doubtless watching. But holding her close, feeling the rapid beat of her heart against his chest, and breathing in the intoxicating fragrance of her hair and skin… that was a form of justice he could readily administer.

Kani Nayuta, still playing her role, pulled out her phone with a flourish. "In that case… I wish to hire legal counsel to defend me!"

A grin spread across Touji's face. "Oh? And which lawyer do you wish to hire?"

She met his gaze, her own eyes sparkling with mischief and affection. "I choose… Lawyer Kasumigaoka."

Kasumigaoka Touji could only shake his head in amused admiration. She really knows how to pick them.

"..."

Arm in arm, they made their way back to the upper elevator lobby. Their final destination for the night was the pinnacle of the Skytree: the Tembo Galleria.

Moving from the Tembo Deck to the Galleria required another ticket check, but Touji had purchased the combined "Skytree Pass" earlier, so they simply scanned their QR codes and proceeded.

Guided by staff, they boarded one of the unique, semi-transparent glass elevators that serviced the final ascent. The elevators here were as much an attraction as the view! Looking down, the sprawling city seemed to shrink further into a mesmerizing carpet of light. Looking up, the dark velvet of the night sky seemed within reach. It created a thrilling sensation of soaring into the heavens, making hearts race with anticipation.

Ding.

The elevator chimed softly as it reached its destination—445 meters above the ground. The heavy doors parted slowly. Touji and Kani Nayuta stepped out, following the flow of visitors into a breathtaking space.

Before them stretched a long, gently sloping, circular ramp that spiraled upwards. The outer wall was composed entirely of glass, offering a 360-degree panorama. Inside, three layers of sleek, brushed metal railings provided safety. Along the base of the innermost railing, LED strip lights placed every ten centimeters emitted a cool, futuristic blue glow.

This ambient, cerulean lighting filled the entire Tembo Galleria, creating a feeling of serene, otherworldly freshness. It stood in stark, beautiful contrast to the warm, golden, and white brilliance of the city lights twinkling beyond the glass—as if they were walking through a calm, starry tunnel suspended above a galaxy of man-made stars.

"The view from here… is on another level entirely!" Touji exhaled, genuinely awestruck. It was a masterpiece of urban vista.

Hand firmly in hand, he led Kani Nayuta as they began the ascent towards the highest point—the fabled 450-meter mark. The night, and their date, still had its highest peak to reach.
