"Caelwyn," Atlas said softly. "Caelwyn Blackthorn." He made his decision at last, choosing from all the names that had crossed his mind.
"Cael," he added with a small smile. "We can call him Cael. What do you think?"
"Yes, my lord," Lyrassa replied warmly. "It is a beautiful name. Cael."
At the same time, the baby reacted. A soft, gentle laugh escaped his lips, his green eyes still calm and peaceful.
Then something changed.
A faint green aura began to rise from Caelwyn's small body. It was subtle, yet clearly visible, spreading outward and softly enveloping Atlas and Lyrassa in a gentle, tranquil glow.
