Atlas held Morganna close in his arms for a moment. Neither of them spoke, and in that silence, words weren't needed.

Atlas's grip tightened ever so slightly.
"Tell me," he said. "Are you pregnant?"
Morganna gave no answer.
Atlas let out a sharp breath, pulling back just enough to see her face. His hands shifted to her shoulders, his eyes searching desperately for any sign.
