Daisy was stiff the whole night with Theo by her side, but she didn't know when she fell asleep. The last thing she recalled was Theo gently raising her head, placing it on his arm, and pulling her closer.
She frowned at the sharp sunlight that slipped through the curtains, but before she could turn away, the brightness dimmed. Blinking her eyes open, she realized Theo's palm was shielding her face from the rays. That was when it hit her, they were too close and were hugging each other.
"Good morning." Theo tightened the arm wrapped beneath her, making sure she couldn't suddenly pull away.
Daisy's face slowly turned red as she instinctively pressed against his chest, trying to escape. "This is not a good morning for me… waking up with your face an inch from mine."
Theo smiled and only nodded in understanding. "Okay."
