Chapter 58
The store that Rexid followed the merchant into looked rather desolate on the inside.
“You have no customers.”
“It’s like that in the North.”
That was not surprising. How many customers would be looking for expensive magic tools in Drax, where not many people lived in the first place?
Although the public merchant guild’s rules stated that they had to periodically travel throughout all the continent periodically to sell their goods, many merchants were reluctant to go to the North, as the population size wasn’t that large, and the only people that had money there were the nobles.
The nobles in the North tended to stay in their fiefs and run their fiefs quietly too. This resulted in the fact that they at most sold some cheap goods, and the really profitable goods like magical tools would just return with them most of the time.
“Here it is. This is the latest product that was created in Year 224 of the Kingdom of Eizenbach so you don’t have to worry about magic leaks.”
