As soon as the two of them left the room, they quickly rushed to the secret hallway which no one passed through.
During that time, Owen Shubach transformed from a butler into a merciless assassin.
Owen halted as he took off his burdensome white gloves and checked out the various blades stashed in the inner pockets of his vest.
It was because he had noticed the strange presence of Rosica, who was following right behind him.
“What do you plan to do, Miss Rosica?”
“What do you mean?”
“You’re not planning to capture Ahel with me, are you?”
“Well, maybe not with you, but I’m setting out to capture him too.”
“Haha, am I that untrustworthy? I may not look the part, but I was a talented assassin with a success rate of 99% during my days.”
“Oh, I see you failed once though.”
“Yes. It was my first and my last failure. I failed to assassinate Rexid Van Hexen.”
“Huh? It seems like you two have an interesting past that I am not aware of.”
