Rosica slowly spoke after thinking about what Rexid said.
“She knows?”
“When you were getting washed, she suddenly started crying with a very angry face. When I asked her why she was crying, she told me it was because she kept losing at chess.”
“What?”
“I was wondering what she was talking about since I don’t remember her losing at all.”
“…”
“But when I thought about it again, I started to wonder if you were losing on purpose and Erika maybe saw through everything.”
“I see. I think you’re right…”
Rosica couldn’t help but agree.
Rexid sighed as he watched Rosica blink, unable to say anything in shock. “Please, don’t do that anymore. It’s not good for her mentality. I think you hurt her pride, as well.”
“Goodness.”
Rexid felt concerned about Erika, who was surely feeling frustrated because of her own mother’s ruse.
