Chapter 170 - ???

"You three are here."

Zhou Zhou said as Lu Sheng, Dai Lui and Loth stood before him.

"Have a seat."

He gestured towards the couches.

"Inside here is an Aurora Tower, a weapon capable of dealing devastating damage to individuals or entire armies."

Holding a spatial ring in his palm, he revealed its content to the soldiers.

"I've heard of the Aurora Tower."

"It's said to be the most powerful war machine in the Aurora Kingdom."

Loth said.

Nodding to confirm Loth's words, Zhou Zhou continued.

"You three are to sell the tower to the Tahan Kingdom through Zaha, the scarlet city lord of Dark Night Town."

"Any offer below 10 Extraordinary-tier mist cores is to be rejected."

"This is a secret mission, and no word should be said to anyone outside this room. Got it?"

"Yes, my lord."

The soldiers answered.

They might be confused at the order, but they were loyal and trusted their lord.

"Dai Lui, you'll make contact with Zaha. Loth and Lu Sheng will support you from the shadows."

"Lu Sheng, your task is to intimidate Zaha during the negotiation. Loth will fly you guys there in his sunsoar."

Giving each of them a task, Zhou Zhou took out an Epic-tier Laser Cannon XXV.

"Mount this on Loth's sunsoar during the trade and fire a shot to intimidate Zaha."

He then placed an Epic-tier mist core beside the two-meter-long cannon.

"This should be enough for five shots."

He said to the gunner.

"Understood."

Lu Sheng said as he pulled the items on the table into his spatial ring.

"Ensure the deal can't be traced back to the city."

"Otherwise, we might get wiped out."

Zhou Zhou warned the trio.

"Yes, my lord."

Lu Sheng, Dai Lui and Loth responded in unison before leaving.

"I should begin making preparations to feast among the sharks..."

Zhou Zhou muttered.

"I can't do all this to then have my soldiers suffer a defeat against the army of the Tahan Kingdom, thereby, losing the kingdom token of the Aurora Kingdom."

He exhaled.

"I hope Lu Chong can quickly grasp his path to godhood... if not, then more soldiers should comprehend their own law skills.

..

Exiting the Time Ruin through the portal, Feng Huo confirmed his suspicions.

'The insights I received alongside my empire-tier skills were related to time law.'

'I wouldn't have known about it if I never experienced the time law when crossing into the past through this Time Ruin.'

'I-I can actually learn a law skill of legend...'

He thought to himself before emerging behind the military base a few seconds later.

"Our next stop is the Monster Ranch."

Bai Yung said to Feng Huo.

"And what does it do?"

Feng Huo inquired.

"Well, if the Time Ruin allows us to fight freely, the Monster Ranch does the opposite. It heavily restricts us."

"That's because we specifically train our skills without relying on the might of our strength level.

Bai Yung replied.

"I don't quite get you."

Feng Huo admitted.

"Don't worry. Letting you see for yourself would clarify things."

Bai Yung nodded as they flew towards the North-East border of the city.

.

"Wow!"

Staring at ten monster ranches containing thousands of fog monsters, Feng Huo was stunned.

"So that's why it's called a Monster Ranch..."

He muttered.

"Just like yesterday, we'll suppress our strength to Green bronze-tier advance grade."

"Anyone who wants to suppress it further is free to do so."

Bai Yung announced to his subordinates.

With each of them having at least a kingdom-tier skill, they would survive a beating from the advance-tier fog monsters at the Yellow gold-tier elementary grade.

"Lu Chong, Monica, Zhang Xiang, Hui Teng, Huang Sai, Sun Can, Qin We, Man Nao and I will begin first."

"The rest of you will rotate in after any of us gives up."

He added.

"Good thing they increased the monster ranches holding the undead knights."

Huang Sai said as he stepped into a monster ranch.

With the undead knights being advance-tier lifeforms, making them two tiers above the Black-tailed scorpions, the soldiers began using them specifically as training partners.

As for the other fog monsters, aside from the desert fog lizard, the rest were taken out.

The desert fog lizards were only left due to the meats they provided.

"Release them."

Bai Yung said to Mu Gu.

Nodding, the monster shepherd let go of his hold on the fog monsters.

Taking a battle stance, Man Nao steadied his breathing as the decayed knights and their undead steeds charged toward him.

"I missed this."

A grin spread across his face as he struck towards the incoming blades.

Clang!

Knocking aside a sword aiming at his chest, Lu Chong swiftly dodged as another blade sliced toward his ribs.

Entering within the attacking range of two other undead knights, he twisted his waist just in time as the edge of a sword grazed past his left side.

'A worthy price.'

The spear demon's eyes sharpened as he swung the shaft of his spear with precision.

Struck cleanly, the undead knight was hurled off its mount, crashing into three others behind it.

For a brief moment, Lu Chong had space to avoid a head-on clash.

Just enough for him to catch his breath.
