Chapter 14 - All Aboard the Dragon Express

Bery opened her eyes to a perfectly sculpted face. The dragon blinked her eyes open and stared back, reflecting Bery's unkempt morning hair. Valerie smiled and parted Bery's strands hanging in front of her face.

"You look so cute in the mornings, kitten." Valerie wrapped her arms tight around Bery and pet her head. "This is like a personal heaven for me to wake up to your pretty face and gorgeous blue eyes."

Bery's face heated, but she nodded. "I love this also. Though, your face is like a perfect painting. I feel like I could stare at it all day."

The dragon giggled. "I didn't expect you to become so forward after yesterday. As much as I would love to spend all day relishing these sensations and lay in bed with you, I have a promise to uphold."

"An adventure, right?"

Valerie nodded. She stood and offered the kitten her hand, and Bery gladly accepted it.

Bery stretched and took in the warm morning light from the window. Her body felt incredibly relaxed, and there was an unexpected amount of comfort to have Valerie there. She felt safe and protected, but she also felt the warmth that came from love. Her heart still thumped madly as she looked over Valerie's body, and she had to will herself not to stare for too long.

But Valerie's naked form was far too alluring. Her nice rounded rear end was formed so perfectly. Above the dragon's perfect butt, she had nice back dimples, and the rest of her back was muscular. And the dragon's legs were another beast altogether. She had thick thighs and toned legs. Seeing it made Bery feel like she might start salivating, so she focused on dressing herself.

She found herself digging through the wardrobe that Valerie had provided her. Once she thought about it, she realized that she'd not been able to pick out an outfit yet. The thing was complete with several of Valerie's tastes openly displayed. Some of them were very risque, but many of them were cute with flowery designs. All of them were much better made than the clothes from Bery's village. And all of them would certainly fit Bery perfectly.

Considering that the two were going for an adventure, Bery looked for clothes suited for the task. She found a small white shirt with what looked like pink kitten paw prints and decided to wear it along with a short pink skirt.

She turned and presented herself to the dragon. "How do I look?"

"You look cute! You're like a kitten that decided to dress up as herself. What about me?" The dragon twirled on her toes. She wore a strawberry red dress with a short skirt. Twirling with it revealed a little of the red underwear beneath.

Bery smiled after catching a glimpse. "I think you look great."

Valerie chuckled and pulled the kitten into her arms. She tilted Bery's head up and planted a kiss on the cat's lips. "I had no idea that you were a randy little thing. I will make sure to take note of that for later."

Bery's face flushed, but she didn't attempt to deny it. She had no idea about this trait of hers either.

Valerie pulled Bery outside to the beautiful mountain valley, and she found a large clearing.

"Where are you taking me?" Bery asked.

"First, I need you to make me a promise. I will need to change forms…"

Bery's eyes widened. Somehow in the midst of all of their time spent together, she'd completely forgotten that this wasn't her dragon's regular form. She'd forgotten all about the large red creature, even though Valerie still maintained a scaly tale in humanoid form. She'd wiped from her mind the image of a giant dragon crushing through a person's bones with her jaws.

Now that dragon looked like a normal girl. An incredibly alluring woman that now looked nervous. All of her usual confidence had faded into something else. It was a look that Bery had seen before in herself, and it was something she'd seen on other people at the bar or on the streets. It was a fear of being seen. The insecurity that came with the idea that someone would know who you are.

Bery shook her head and trod over to her dragon. She placed her little hand against Valerie's cheek caressing it tenderly. Her other hand found the top of one of Valerie's black horns, and she massaged it soothingly.

It never even occurred to Bery that Valerie might fear something as simple as showing off her dragon form. Why would a dragon be afraid of such a thing? They were majestic and terrifying, but there were never any accounts of them being afraid. Let alone being scared to show themselves. But it all made sense to Bery when she considered herself.

The kitten wrapped her arms protectively around her dragon and lowered her voice, speaking softly into Valerie's ear. "I promise that I will not be afraid of you, so you can show yourself...Your true self."

Valerie smiled faintly and held onto Bery. "Thank you, kitten…" She nudged the kitten away from her. "Then, if you'll allow me. Please stand over there."

Bery nodded and rushed to stand where the dragon pointed. She waited patiently while staring at Valerie. The dragon might have thought that Bery would be scared, but now there was only one thing on the kitten's mind. What will happen to her clothes if she transforms?

A vivid gush of magic power flowed from Valerie's body. Winds blew into the surroundings with the dragon at the epicenter. It started with a small spark, a cinder of flame glowing from the tip of those splendid black horns. Then it grew much larger, spreading out and coating Valerie's body, making her look like a fire elemental from legends.

The fire burst into an enormous flame and outward flowed the dragon's limbs. They spawned from that volcanic tornado and rumbled the ground. The dragon's long body formed with perfect red scales. Black accented her majestic body from the horns gripping her back, tail and head.

A beautiful long and red snout formed and puffed a plume of smoke. Those vivid red eyes narrowed and the pupils became like the slits of a predator. Wings spread out from the dragon's back encompassing the whole clearing, and despite all of the flames, none of the beautiful surrounding nature caught fire.

Not even the dress that Bery had wondered about. Instead, what happened to the dress went beyond Bery's imagination. It formed a cute strawberry scarf that clung tightly to Valerie's neck.

The dragon lowered her neck slowly, until her nose was almost pressed against Bery's chest.

Bery was not afraid, yet her eyes marveled at the size of her lover. Even Valerie's head was bigger than Bery's whole body. Bery pushed her hand forward until it pressed against the scales between Valerie's nostrils.

"You are still wonderful even in this form," Bery said.

The dragon grinned, showing off enormous sharp teeth. Rather than speak normally, Valerie's thoughts projected into the kitten's mind.

"It makes me so happy to see that you do not reject this form. Seeing your reaction on our first meeting made me very anxious."

"Yeah, I'm sorry about that. I'd never seen a dragon before, and I didn't know that they could be so...wonderful."

Another voice from within Bery's mind made itself known to Valerie.

"Acknowledging Valerie's voice...Administrator Bery, what designation should Y.U.R.I give unto Valerie?"

"Designation? So this is Yuri," Valerie said.

Bery laughed wryly and scratched her head. "I don't really understand a lot of words that Yuri says, but I think she's a good person...thing."

"Recommending designation for the entity known as Valerie…calculated. Y.U.R.I recommends that Administrator Bery designates Valerie as 'wife'. Acknowledge."

"Oh!" Valerie cheered. "I think that Yuri is correct."

Bery's face grew as red as the scarf clinging onto Valerie's neck. "We never even got married yet, so how can she be designated as my wife?"

"It is a preliminary measure, especially since administrator Bery just said 'yet'."

Bery covered her face with her hands. Did I really just say that?

"Yes. Y.U.R.I can play back any voice recordings if you'd like."

"No! Just...Whatever! Designate her as that if you will…"

"Understood. Designating Valerie as the administrator's wife with the administrator's approval."

The dragon clearly resisted laughing. Instead, she pretended like she didn't hear anything and tilted her head down.

"Now then, kitten, please climb aboard. You can sit on top of the scarf."

Bery's face grew uncertain. "Are you sure it's okay? That would mean I have to step on you."

"Do not worry. With you, it will be like a little kitten walking on top of a brick counter. The counter will not bend or break. So please… step on me."

Bery titled her head in confusion at the teasing tone Valerie used towards the end. Nevertheless, she obediently climbed on top of the dragon's head before sitting on the scarf behind the dragon's long black horns which were noticeably bigger in this form.
