Chapter 15 - Effect Of Growing Abilities

Kavita set the small bangle box on the counter, her fingers still brushing the edges as if the warmth of his hands lingered in her skin.

Arahan didn't step away.

"Lilac suits you," he said, voice low. "Delicate, sweet… but still with bite."

She glanced up, her eyes narrowing slightly. "You saying I bite, Arahan?"

He leaned closer—just enough for her to feel his breath against her cheek.

"I'm saying I wouldn't mind finding out."

She blinked once—caught off guard—and then the corners of her lips curved.

"You're lucky I'm in a good mood," she said, picking up the perfume bottle again and swirling it between her fingers.

"You want to really test something?" she asked, eyes glittering. "Apply it."

He tilted his head. "Where?"

She tilted hers back challengingly. "My neck. Just behind the ear. Let's see how steady your hands are."

[Ding!]

[New Task Generated]

Apply perfume to Kavita's neck with your fingers—slowly, sensually, and confidently. While holding her from behind, feel her curves.

Reward: ₹500 | +5 Relationship | +0.5 Agility

Note: Her pulse is the real test. If it quickens, you're doing it right.

Arahan didn't break eye contact.

He reached for the bottle, twisted the cap off, and dipped two fingers gently into the perfume's mouth. The scent of sandalwood and lilac curled into the air—heady and feminine.

Kavita tilted her head slightly, exposing the slender line of her neck. Her braid fell to one side, revealing warm, soft skin. She didn't blink. Didn't speak.

His fingers pressed gently against her pulse point.

She sucked in a breath—quiet, sharp.

He traced a slow line behind her ear, down the side of her neck. Not rushed. Not crude. Every second of contact seemed to burn into her.

At the same time, he held her from behind, his one hand touching her waist.

Kavita was shocked by sudden boldness, but she didn't stop him.

While he was rubbing her beautiful neck, he also felt her hips and back through his body.

His cock was also stirred awoken from the feeling her ass curves.

Since he came here wearing lungi and t-shirt, his lungi was not able to hide his cock.

Kavita feels something was poking her from behind.

But suddenly, they heard someone coming and quickly separated.

"Ok, I will come later if something is needed," He quickly took the essentials and went away from there.

[Task Completed!]

Apply perfume to Kavita's neck with confidence

+₹500 (System Wallet: ₹11500 → ₹12000)

+0.5 Agility (5.5 → 6.0)

Kavita Relationship +5 → 20/100 (Undeniable Tension)

Kavita didn't watch him leave this time. But her hand rose to her neck, and back after he exited—the spot he touched. And stayed there, fingers lingering in silence.

Arahan stepped out of Kavita's ration shop with a small bag of supplies in one hand and a smirk he couldn't quite suppress. The scent of sandalwood and lilac still clung faintly to his fingers—and so did the feeling of her waist, and mostly her beautiful ass curves. If someone had not come to the shop, he even tried to check how it looked in reality.

He noticed that time has also passed, and he needs to go to school. So, in speed, he goes towards home, to change the dress, since he was still wearing lungi and kurta, so he can't go in these types of dress.

Soon, he reached home. He dropped the bag, splashed his face, and ran a comb through his hair.

Then he choose the single cleanest set of formal clothes—a crisp sky-blue shirt, ironed just enough to pass, and a pair of dark trousers. The belt clicked snug around his waist. He rolled his sleeves just below the elbow, revealing forearms subtly shaped by rising strength.

He stepped outside, locking the door behind him.

But the moment his feet touched the dusty village path again, something became clear.

His body felt different.

Before, the walk to school always came with fatigue—his legs sore halfway, his back aching by the time he reached the gate.

Today was different.

Today, he moved with energy.

The Agility boost from Kavita's task, the growing Strength, and the ever-glowing Charm at 10/10—it was all finally showing itself.

Also the villagers noticed it.

As he strolled down the narrow road, the shirt clinging slightly to his chest in the breeze, heads turned.

The tailor's niece, drawing water from the hand pump, paused mid-crank. Her eyes followed him, and a faint pink touched her cheeks, while her lips parted slightly.

Two aunties selling vegetables at the roadside stopped their gossip to watch him pass—one even nudging the other and muttering something with a sly grin.

Even the young married woman walking with a tiffin in hand slowed her pace, biting her lower lip for just a second too long as he passed.

Even the widow from the west fields, usually stoic and withdrawn, held her gaze for a moment too long.

They all looked towards him, till he passed.

Arahan controls his smile. But from inside, he was so happy.

Because, whoever did not like those girls noticed him.

And he knew it was the effect of his Charm 10.

By the time he passed the tea stall near the temple gate, a group of college girls visiting their grandparents turned to whisper, giggling behind dupattas.

And when he finally reached the school gate, two junior students were already waiting with flowers in hand—"for decoration," they claimed, but their wide eyes gave away their admiration.

He stepped into the building.

The school compound buzzed with the usual hum of morning energy—chalk against boards, rustling notebooks, the murmur of teachers explaining grammar rules.

As he passed the classrooms, the eyes of girls from Class 8 to 12 followed him like a breeze turning pages.

Some dared to greet him boldly.

"Good morning, Arahan Sir!" came the sing-song voices from Class 10, their tone just a little too sweet.

Others, especially from Class 11 and 12, whispered behind their hands.

"Did you see his shirt today? He looks so…"

"…like he stepped out of a movie."

"…he looks so handsome today."

A few of the quieter ones simply watched—faces pink, eyes lowered, hearts drumming louder than their textbooks.

One girl from Class 9 accidentally dropped her pen. Arahan bent slightly to pick it up and handed it back with a small nod.

She nearly forgot to breathe.

He didn't speak much. Just a few courteous nods, a faint smile here and there, a quiet "Good morning" in return.

But it was enough.

By the time he reached Class One at the end of the hallway, half the corridor was buzzing.

Inside Class One, the little ones sat on mats, some drawing crooked animals, others counting from their fingers.

"Arahan Sir!" one boy shouted joyfully as he entered.

The class erupted in excitement.

He smiled genuinely this time. The attention outside was flattering—but this room was grounding. It reminded him why he was here. Why he worked.

He set his bag down, took out the chalk, and turned to the board.

"Alright, everyone," he said, his voice calm but full of quiet energy. "Today we're going to learn about animals that live in water."

One of the girls raised her hand. "Even sharks?"

He chuckled. "Especially sharks."

The last bell rang softly, echoing across the low-ceilinged school halls. The children of Class One gathered their notebooks and lunchboxes, still murmuring about sharks and dolphins.

Arahan stood by the chalkboard, brushing white dust from his fingertips, when he heard her voice.

"Teaching the ocean again?" came the playful, silky tone.

He turned.

Sabnam stood in the doorway, dressed in a light yellow churidar that caught the light through the classroom window. Her hair was tied loosely, a few strands escaping and curling around her cheek. In her hands—no books, no files. Just a knowing smile.

"Sabnam?" Arahan raised an eyebrow. "Didn't expect you to be here during hours."

"I wouldn't have come unless it was something important," she said, stepping closer. "Actually… it's something good."

His curiosity sparked instantly. "What is it?"

She tilted her head toward the hallway, her smile deepening. "Come with me. You'll hear it straight from the source."

Arahan, sensing her excitement, nodded. He picked up his satchel and followed her through the now quiet corridors.

The breeze brushed gently through the open windows. The smell of chalk and ink faded as they passed the senior classes. Sabnam walked ahead gracefully, swaying slightly, looking back just once to see if he was still close behind.

Then—she stopped in front of the principal's office.

Arahan blinked. "Here?"

Sabnam grinned. "Don't worry. You're not in trouble."
