At the front of the classroom, Professor Aura explained several medicinal herbs that could only grow in low temperatures. Most of them had already gone extinct. The few that remained had never managed to reach maturity.
From the corner, Gara observed quietly, realizing why Professor Aura had chosen to teach material she had never covered before.
At the end of class, Professor Aura smiled. "Now we finally have the opportunity to cultivate these rare medicinal herbs. There are no longer any limits on our knowledge of herbal plants."
Some of the students seemed to understand what the herbal expert was implying, while others simply brushed the comment aside.
After the students left, Gara helped Professor Aura put away several jars of plants that had been used as teaching props.
"Gara, this professor of yours is a little disappointed, you know." Professor Aura pretended to be upset.
