After arriving at the castle, Karon informed the Duke about Gara's plan. The Duke did not look surprised, as if he had already known.
"Gara needs experienced personnel to help him build his new territory from scratch. I will provide the names of the staff and knights that Commander Ramun and I recommend. If the Duke does not wish to—"
"No need to ask for my permission. Go ahead," the Duke interrupted.
Karon looked surprised but still nodded. "Understood, Duke."
"I trust you to send the right personnel," the Duke added.
Hearing that, Karon became slightly confused by the phrase the right personnel. Was his father telling him to send highly capable people, or just ordinary personnel while treating Gara's request as a mere formality?
"My Lord, why did you immediately agree to Gara's request?" Karon asked, wanting to confirm the Duke's intentions.
