Every time Gara met the Class S students, he would inevitably remember Madha's face. Even if they tried to act carefully around him, it wouldn't make any difference.
Rather than feeling suffocated by both the memories of Madha and his friends' awkward behavior, he would rather carry just one burden.
After their conversation in the cafeteria that day, the atmosphere in Class S returned to normal. They almost never mentioned Madha in front of Gara, though Gara knew they still talked about him behind his back.
"Are you guys going to attend the ceremony where Madha's older brother will receive the title of Baron?" Miki asked, turning to their classmates. The moment his eyes met Gara's, he reflexively covered his mouth.
He had forgotten that Gara was there.
"I'll go," Gara said, as if he hadn't noticed Miki's startled reaction.
"Me too," Revan replied.
Andine and Jett quickly added that they would attend as well.
