Both Kyle and Fiona were at the table eating, Fiona was eating while Kyle watched her scoop up the soup so fast she produced afterimages.
"Anyway , what's your name" he asked remembering he still didn't know her name.

"*gulp* Fiona.... Fiona Valtoria" she said after swallowing a spoon of soup, before continuing to devour the bowl
"Valtoria huh....where have I heard that name before" he thought picking up the book of world geography which was conveniently laying on the table.
After a few minutes of scrolling through the pages he stopped on one page, reading it before saying.
"here it is, the Valtorian empire, which means... you're a princess or something" he guessed while still looking at the book.
He looked up at the wild beast eating in front him and remembering this morning.

Leaving his thoughts the beast had turned to a tomato he stretched across the table placing the back of his hand on her forehead.
"are you ok you suddenly look red" he said genuinely concerned mostly because he didn't hear what she was saying before and because that was just how he was.

Honestly even if she had her mana purifier she still would still not go into the forest. She was terrified, she was sure she wouldn't last a minute.
"it's okay, you can stay as long as you like" he said picking up the dishes they had.
He understood how she felt, after all who wouldn't be scared after getting tossed around by a giant snake.

After dropping the dishes in the sink he back out of the kitchen to see her fiddling with her fingers.

Then remembering had something to say he asked.

"wow calm down, I haven't seen anything like that, I haven't even gone outside the fence yet" he said walking over to her putting his hands on her shoulders making her take a sit
"what's the deal with the plant anyway" he asked pulling a chair next to her
"A curse, my mom she was cursed and that plant is the only way to remove the curse"
"huh why not just go to a priest, they can use holy magic to break cures right" he said remembering the many novels he had read.
"What is holy magic?" she tilting her head to the side.
"What do you by that don't you know the thing priests use" he said trying to describe it
"hmmm.... priest's do heal but only because they have the [Heal] skill but even then they are very few, but I've never heard of anyone using "holy magic"" she explained.
'so there's no holy magic in this world but there are curses, unbalanced isekai' he said with hand on his chin and a disappointed look on his face.
"why do suddenly look so disappointed" Fiona asked seeing his expression.

"ok" she said, meanwhile she was still wondering how she could save her mom.
Kyle was deep in his thoughts, wondering why he was in a fantasy world with no holy magic.
'that doesn't make sense did something happen or was it just never a thing, ugh...I don't know'
He was still deep in his thoughts with his head, but when he looked up he Fiona with expression on her face still thinking about what she was going to do, how was she going to get home, how was she going to save her mom, why were they potatoes she ate so dark.
So Kyle pulled out the sure to never fall weapon of relaxation, Head Pats.

And like a charm it worked, a little too well at that, her worries melted away so did her rationality and ability to form thoughts.
Yeah it was that bad, her eyes were closed and she had a big stupid smile plastered on her face as leaned into his arm.

What Kyle didn't know was that after gaining 10% solis' stats, he also gained 10%of his charisma and overall personality, which was why someone who barely talked to his mother was actively getting close to a girl.
But 10%? How charisma can you gain from 10%? Well it wouldn't be much with the other's but Solis was in a league of his own, after all 10% of infinity is still Infinity right.
But of course charisma does nothing if the person is not interested in you in the first place

Although it may look like Kyle was being stupid he knew what was doing.
