"Huh?"
"The last two Dhampirs I met tried to kill me. So… just asking to be safe." I clarified.
Understanding dawned in her eyes.
"Oh, you are asking why you met multiple Dhampir in Europe? That's not unusual given the current international events.
"Many of the Supernaturals are relocating out of the States.
"In fact, that's why we sisters are taking this test.
"We were Anomaly Hunters in States.
"But the States doesn't have a major hidden clan, so the license from there isn't useable as an official license outside of States.
"That's why we're getting our new licenses from Underworld," Selene explained.
"Why the sudden relocation?" I asked.
"Because of House Daelthorn. Frank Daelthorn was betrayed and killed by mercenaries from the States. Now, the House is putting pressure on every supernatural in the U.S.
"Given the House Daelthorn's history, many of us decided to move out before they went on a killing spree, or did something worse."
I nodded slowly.
