Selene did not expect it to happen like this. She was still inside Anna's apartment, seated with restrained hands, when the door opened.
Anna looked up immediately. For a brief moment, she thought it was one of Lucas's men.
They had been held captive for three days. Lucas's men would provide them food and water but every move of theirs was monitored closely.
Selene was still calm but Anna felt like she was going crazy. Whatever had happened with her previously with the man in black and now whatever was happened had taken a toll on her mental health.
