Loop 163: The day started anew. Kaito and the other appeared at the field outside of the city entrance, along with a group of people who had been pulled into the anomaly prior. Upon entering the city, they saw a group of citizens had already crafted a makeshift cross and were in the process of tying Luke to it. Luke, spotting Ysoria, screamed, begging her to rescue him as she's a Saint. He ranted that he only did what any other sane person would do with such a powerful artifact. He was quickly gagged and tied up to the cross.
Loop 164: Kaito and the other had settled in the city. Nysera was helping Ambrose in his research. Kaito decided to start training, repeatedly slashing the air in front of the pocket watch to see if Shikabanehime would adapt to the infinite distance. Rin, out of boredom, joined him. Ysoria was attempting to communicate with the Goddess to see if she could help.
Loop 164: No progress was made.
Loop 165: Kaito drank some of Rin's tea to aid in his efforts. He focused his mind and could feel that he was cutting something, even if he couldn't see it.
Loop 166: In the previous loop, Kaito accidentally killed a bunch of people. Kaito decided to stop drinking Rin's tea.
Loop 167: Rin somehow managed to cut a rift in time, allowing them to witness a short glimpse into a scene from the past. The rift was incredibly unstable and closed instantly.
Loop 168: Nysera managed to move slightly closer to the timepiece but was pushed back after a few minutes as the distance reasserting itself.
Loop 169: Ambrose, captivated by Rin's feat, began helping her research and practice to replicate it.
Loop 170: Rin managed to replicate the rift, though at an extremely low success rate. Kaito also managed to cut a rift open with Shikabanehime, but it was far less precise than Rin's.
Loop 171: Asked by Rin, Ysoria casted a bunch of blessings on her to help her practice more effectively.
Loop 172: With Ambrose stabilizing the area around the pocket watch, Nysera managed to approach it directly. However, she was unable to touch it as her hand passed right through it.
Loop 173: Kaito managed to open a rift, but it was not through time. Instead, a chaotic, swirling rift was opened, with a powerful pulling force. He lost a shoe to it before it closed.
Loop 174: The shoe did not return when the loop restarted. Where did it go? This time, Kaito practiced his swing at a distance away from the others to avoid collateral damage.
Loop 175: Rin could now somewhat consistently open a rift through time.
Loop 176: Nysera managed to move Rin closer to the pocket watch, and they opened a time rift right next to it. They could see the pocket watch in the past through the rift, but it was incredibly unstable and closed instantly.
Loop 180: Kaito managed to open a much bigger rift in chaotic space. Prepared this time, Kaito and the others fled the area. It swallowed a bunch of jewels and gold from the throne room, and when it closed, the fissure ripped the building in half, killing a few people.
Loop 181: The jewels and gold that were swallowed by the rift were missing after the loop restarted. However, the building and the people who were killed returned to normal. Kaito decided to stop practicing as it might cause unseen issues with the pocket watch.
Loop 185: Ambrose made an announcement to the citizens that they were close to resolving the anomaly. He asked everyone to stop dying and lay off the drinking.
Loop 186: Through the combined effort of Rin, Nysera, Ambrose, and the numerous mages and students who had learned to manipulate time, they were about to obtain the pocket watch from the past.
Loop 187: The loop didn't stop, and the pocket watch returned to its original location. They tried the same thing again. This time, Kaito put it in his inventory. The sky suddenly shifted in color. Everyone waited for the approaching dawn, the time that the loop would reset. However, this time, they weren't moved to their past location but stood where they were. The time loop was broken.
