Kane shifted in his arms, amber eyes bright despite his exhaustion.
"Much." Kane's tail flicked against Cyrus's thigh, a mischievous smile playing at his lips.
The dragon's possessive purr rumbled through his chest, fingers tightening slightly on Kane's hip.
Kane pressed closer, feeling Cyrus's interest stirring again against his lower back.
"You know," Kane murmured, voice still rough from their earlier activities, "for someone who claims to have learned everything from romance novels, you're surprisingly... thorough."
Cyrus's grip tightened on Kane's waist. "Kane."
"What?" Cyrus took a sharp breath as Kane's tail swept deliberately between his legs.
"I'm just making conversation."
"Kane, behave."
Kane shifted, pressing back against Cyrus's growing arousal with calculated innocence.
"I am behaving. This is me being very well-behaved."
