He was startled, but after staring at the stars in the void, he realized where he was.
He snapped his gaze towards his surroundings and noticed a figure not too far away. Her expression was serene as she stared lightly into the void, as though she was unbothered by the worries of the mortal world.
Seeing such an expression on her face, a look of longing appeared in Aleron's eyes. He yearned to have such an expression, standing at the peak of the world.
"I have made my decision," Aleron called out lightly, walking towards the celestial goddess.
She turned to Aleron, facing him with her multicolored eyes which glowed with a series of colors. The galaxies within the depths of her eyes could not be hidden in the slightest.
