On Planet Arkanis, Mira, Maelir, and several other high-level rankers suddenly sensed something unusual and turned their gazes toward the sky.
It was still daytime on Arkanis, so no stars were visible to ordinary eyes, but with their level of cultivation it was effortless for them to see beyond the planet's atmosphere and look directly into the vast expanse of outer space.
"What is going on?" Mira murmured, her brows knitting together as she stared at the distant stars.
Though it was broad daylight below, every star scattered across the void above glowed with an eerie, crimson light.
A strange aura radiated from them, wrapping the entire world in a ghostly crimson veil.
As Mira studied the unsettling phenomenon with a deep frown, the space beside her twisted and Maelir suddenly appeared.
"Teacher, do you know what is happening?" He asked, his voice edged with concern.
