Gray leaned back in his chair, one hand pressed to his stomach as he tried, but failedto stop laughing.
He wiped at the corner of his eyes with his thumb.
"Pwaahahhaha!" he sucked in air for a small moment.
"Sorry, sorry… I'm done… I swear…"
He wasn't, as another snort escaped him.
Lyra crossed her arms, turning her head sharply to the side, her cheeks burning red enough to be compared with a fire crystal.
"S-stop laughing…" she muttered, clearly mortified.
"Everyone is staring…"
Gray finally managed to calm down, exhaling slowly as his shoulders relaxed. He leaned forward again, resting his chin on his palm with his eyes fixed on her.
"You know, for someone who looks so gentle, you're surprisingly terrifying when you get angry," he said casually, his lips curling up into a deep smile.
"I am not terrifying." Lyra shot him a glare.
"Mhm," Gray replied. "Remind me never to be shameless in front of you."
