Malia entered Lilith's office with a pile of papers for her to sign and dropped it at her table.
"So you went lee?"
"Is that a question?" Her eyes scanned the papers. " I mean after you convinced the hell out of me?" Lilith used her powers to control the pen and it signed the book itself.
"C'mon I know you Lee. You're not someone to easily be persuaded. So I was prepared for the worst." Lilith shrugged and turn her chair to the window relaxed.
"So.... Tell me, what is it? What'd they need you for?"
"You've heard of the legend right Malia?"
"What legend?"
"The legend of the ring of flames?"
"Uh yeah. I guess. So what about it?"
Lilith looked at Malia before staring back out the window. "It's on earth. That's what they say and they want me to get it."
"Huh? Isn't the ring of flames like the most powerful item one can possess?" Lilith nodded. "But it can't really exist, can it?"
"I don't know Malia. I'm about to find out."
Malia paused. What would lord Lorthaire want with the ring of flames? Presuming it really exists, ain't being the devil, ruler of earth enough? In any ways it's only natural devils would want more power , but a power like that in the hands of Lorthaire is over doing it.
"Well Lee, what's your gain in this?"
"Half of hell Malia. Plus of course, my freedom to hell." That last part isn't really what she'll call a gain but....
"Half of hell? Really? Cool."
"Right?" Her expression went sour as she stared out of the window.
Malia stood by her side and rested on the desk and followed Lilith's line of sight. It was way down in the streets. A man was being bullied by some hooligans. He was pretty much beaten up already but those hooligans doesn't seem to stop. Suddenly, the bullies all choked and the guy able to escape. Malia knew it was Lilith's doing so she decided to bring up a topic.
"So Lee, when will you have a boyfriend huh?"
Lilith turns her back to the desk and looked at the paperwork all done. "And where is that coming from?"
"Don't you fell lonely, Get a boyfriend and and have a nice life Lee."
"I might be alone but I'm not lonely. Plus what's wrong with the life I'm having?"
"Nothing... Just. Not having a man there for you is totally boring."
Malia isn't wrong. Since she came to earth she had never have a boyfriend or so... All her affairs with men were only a one time thing and it only occurs when she's drunk. But what does having a boyfriend add? The dates, gifts and whatever. If anything, she hates the idea of having someone to hold or what they call that emotion....
"Who am i kidding" Malia voice distracted her from her thoughts. "I forgot Lee here is only a lover of wealth and power. " She rolled her eyes and took the papers heading for the door. "Poor thing." Malia referred to Lilith's heart which she thinks is made of stone. Well someday that stone will be melted. She hopes.
Opening the door, Malia left her office while Lilith got lost in thought if how she was gonna start 'mission somewhat impossible' she has no idea where the ring of flames could be, who it could be with or how to find it. One thing she theorised, is that wherever or whoever the ring of flames might be with, must release some sort of aura. But it was only a theory. She wasn't sure. Well, she might act on that one theory and the only person who could help her was Levi.

The next day, Lilith had gone to Levi's place. She had told Malia she would be away for some days to at least start her mission. She arrived at almond in silvermere. His pent house stood on a hill and when her car stopped at the gate, it automatically opened.
When she got out of her car, a butler came to escort her into the house. She was taken to the lounge and was pleasantly told to have a seat that Levi would join her soon. The lounge was a modern room with a chandelier hung in the center and a little drink bar by the side. There was a round table at the center and some sofa around it.
In few minutes, Levi walked into the lounge.
"Long time no see Lilith." His voice echoed in the room and Lilith turned to him.
Levi was someone she usually worked with when she was still a threat in hell causing mischiefs. He had blue eyes, and short brown hair. He is the son of Pierre, one of the lord's of hell. Though he is half human since his mother was a human, he was pressurized by everyone. He left hell and decided to live in earth but no one was against it because they didn't care.
Levi stood there grinning at her. He was right. It has been long they saw each other.
"Levi. Good to know you're still alive"
"Oh come on Lilith, that's not what to say to a long time friend." He walked to the sofa and sat opposite her. Lilith just shrugged and relaxed.
"So... What brings you here Lilith?"
Her expression becomes serious. " I need your help Levi."
