Chapter 65 - "Union: A Cry to the Sky"

"Inside Ryo"

Himiko reached out and grabbed Ryo's hand.

"Are you ready?"

Ryo smiled faintly.

"If I weren't ready, do you think I'd want to merge with you again?"

Himiko pondered for a moment.

"Hmmm… that makes sense. Anyway, do you understand now who I am?"

Ryo answered confidently,

"Yes… you're just a part of me that separated!"

The moment he said those words, an unbearable pain ripped through him, as if his heart would explode. His body's heat skyrocketed, and then he spat blood.

"What… is happening?" he groaned.

Himiko smiled seriously.

"These are your emotions. You understood me too quickly… so all the feelings surged at once, with full force!"

Ryo fell to the ground, gasping.

"I can't… endure this. I feel like I'm losing!"

---

The System

"Ryo, can you stop pretending? We all know you're not actually in pain."

Ryo was flustered.

"What?! You discovered me this fast?!"

Himiko bit her lip, shouting internally:

"How did I forget that? How foolish of me!"

But Ryo smirked slyly.

"I tricked you, didn't I, Himiko?"

She shouted in anger,

"Now is not the time for jokes!"

Ryo whispered mockingly,

"How boring you are…"

Himiko gripped his hand again, firmly.

"Alright, let's restart from the beginning."

---

Internal Explosion

Suddenly, a massive energy burst erupted between them. Ryo was about to explode from the conflicting emotions inside him. He tried to balance them, managing it for a brief moment… but the emotions refused to submit. They screamed and rebelled again, and this time, Ryo truly felt the pain!

He screamed so loudly that it tore through his ears and mind. A tear ran down his cheek.

"What's happening?! I thought I wouldn't feel pain anymore!"

Himiko called out worriedly,

"Ryo! Balance… endure it!"

But his voice was drowned in chaos; he could hear nothing.

---

Reality

Ryo's body was drenched in blood, convulsing violently, tears streaming endlessly.

"Let me live in peace… I want nothing but rest!"

Ren held him tightly, trying to calm him with random words from his trembling heart.

---

Inside Ryo, Again

Ryo began losing himself. Himiko gradually started fading.

"Ryo! Wake up!"

But it was useless.

His life flashed before his eyes. He saw Yui and screamed,

"Yui! Why did you leave?!"

Yui approached like an angel, smiling and hugging him gently.

"Ryo, you still have a long life! You mustn't die now. Remember… you promised to rule the world! How can you give up so easily? Rise!"

Her words pierced his heart, and he began to resist.

After a long struggle, he finally opened his eyes.

Despite the lingering pain, he smiled faintly.

"Thank you… Yui."

Himiko smiled proudly.

"Well done, Ryo!"

Then she whispered,

"Get ready…"

---

The Emotions

The entities emerged one by one from within him—his manifested emotions. Each screamed a different opinion, in chaos and without balance. But with Himiko's guidance, Ryo finally controlled them. His emotions unified once more, and Himiko merged back inside him.

---

Reality

Ryo finally calmed down.

Ren cautiously approached, but before he could touch him, a black light burst from Ryo's eyes and mouth, shooting into the sky!

The light tore through the heavens, turning them into a living hell: disfigured faces bled, thunder raged endlessly, rain fell like swords, and winds tore through houses.

Infernos gasped in shock:

"What is happening here?!"

Ren ran to the window, terrified.

"Ryo!"

But when he looked at the bed… Ryo was gone. Only the window stood open.

He looked out and saw him walking… no, stepping on the sky itself! Flames gathered beneath his feet, forming steps of fire, as if he were ascending a throne.

Ryo stopped midway and shouted,

"Return to me now!"

Then he unleashed a colossal beam, fusing all the elements. It pierced the sky like a black lightning bolt, accompanied by a massive explosion heard across the planet.

The explosion was like a dark sun, burning away the shadows and restoring peace and light to the world.
