Chapter 62 - "Rio and the World of Elements"

In a place somewhere in the universe, on planet Earth, Rio sat on a large rock.

Suddenly, Envernus emerged from the trees, his voice confident:

— Are you ready?

Rio replied with childish confidence:

— Yes! I will defeat her, no doubt about it!

Envernus lightly tapped Rio on the head:

— Obviously, you're lying. You haven't even entered the second stage yet. And who exactly do you think you're going to defeat?

Rio stammered, nervous:

— Huh? W-What do you mean I'm not ready yet? Of course, I'm ready!

Envernus sighed, utterly hopeless:

— It's clear you're not ready. You haven't understood anything yet!

Rio hesitated:

— Can you explain it to me again? I… I forgot, actually…

Envernus groaned in despair:

— I knew you'd forget! How can your IQ even be 200? That's impossible!

Rio grinned with childish confidence:

— Simply… I don't know!

Envernus muttered:

— My God… help me.

Then, seriously:

— Fine. I'll explain it to you again, and this time… pay attention!

— In this world, there are three main elements: the Moon, the Sun, and the Void. Every person is born with one primary element, and some carry more than one.

— Rarely, a person is born with a secondary element without a primary one.

— Primary elements are with a person from birth, while secondary elements are acquired through training.

— Each primary element grants secondary elements. The Sun, for example, grants fire, flame, earth, light, and nature.

— The Moon grants water, mist, illusions, ice, and air; air itself also grants a secondary element—sand.

— The Void grants shadows, undead, space, darkness, black holes, and hellfire.

— The strongest known element is the Sun. Although its secondary elements are weaker, its core power is far stronger than any secondary element.

Rio asked:

— How's that possible?

Envernus explained:

— Primary elements grant secondary elements, but they aren't exactly those secondary elements. They're another type of element, extremely difficult to control, and much stronger than the secondary elements. It's almost like blending all the elements into one.

— Primary elements also grant other immense powers. Do you remember Zalauria?

Rio nodded:

— Yes.

Envernus continued:

— Zalauria possessed the Moon element—or more precisely, Moon magic. She gained abilities beyond blending secondary elements.

— For instance, regeneration in battle. Even if her body was cut into thousands of pieces, she would come back to life, as long as the Moon existed.

— Her power also increased under moonlight, along with countless other abilities.

— Everyone gains something unique when mastering their primary element. The universe operates on five stages of power:

1. Element Control – You can use elements, but not fully or optimally.

2. Magic Fusion – You and your magic become one. You can take the essence of an element itself. Those who reach this stage don't just use elements—they use magic.

3. Domain of Being – You face extreme challenges, physically and mentally, without rest. If you overcome them, a personal domain forms in your mind, where your imagination becomes reality. This domain contains spheres and stars, representing knowledge you've gained.

— At this stage, you also gain advanced magic: "Magic Fusion." You can merge two elements without limit, even creating entirely new magic.

4 & 5. Legendary Stages – These are mythical; no one has reached them yet.

Envernus looked at Rio—and found him asleep.

He snapped angrily and struck Rio's head:

— Idiot! Wake up!

Rio woke up, still dazed:

— Huh? What's going on? Where's the pizza?

Envernus' anger intensified, and a killing intent shot toward Rio:

— You fool! Explain every word I said! Your effort won't go to waste!

Rio stepped back nervously:

— Envernus… what's wrong with you? Every word? Are you joking?

Envernus rolled up his sleeves and spoke with a serious, sarcastic tone:

— I'll show you who's joking!

In that moment, Rio realized his end had come:

— I haven't lived my life yet! I haven't married sushi! My life is miserable…

The system spoke:

— I think it's better if you run instead of engaging in this drama.

Rio surrendered:

— You're right!

He started running, while Envernus searched for him like a cat hunting a mouse.

— At least… I want to eat something before I die!

Suddenly, Envernus grabbed a tree and ignited it:

— Found you!
