The days passed swiftly as the orc assembled on the outskirts of the village. A group of 30 orcs a sizeable for any foe. Their weapons gleamed in the afternoon soon promising bloodshed. They had adorned their bodies with black and white wat paints the colors contrasting with their green screen. The air was thick with the musky stench of the orcs and their war beasts. Massive, muscular grey wolves, already fitted with saddles and ready for battle.
Ghorruk towered over the orcs, his bone crown glinting. He sat on a much larger white wolf, clearly the alpha of the rest of the wolves. Most of the orcs were at the 2nd tier, yet Ghorruk stood at the fourth tier, an impressive achievement considering he didn't have alot of resources at his disposal.
The shaman came forth in his hands a bowl filled with crushed herbs and blood. He muttered curses as he anointed each and every orc with the concoction. The shaman himself was at the third tier, tied with Bollock as the second strongest beings in the village.
"The spirits warn of steel and fire, but be not afraid. You have been anointed, you will be protected against any and all forms of attack the enemy might launch towards you." The shaman rasped.
The party roared as the as they set out, the thundering paws of their wolf mounts causing minor tremors in the ground. The beasts snarled as they tore through the dense undergrowth. The half-goblin scout was leading the way.
As the group rode to battle a small orc boy watched with pride. He turned to his mother, a large slender orc quite endowned.
"When can i join the raids, mother?" She asked.
"When you're strong enough, young one." She chuckled at her son.
"Come with me to pray for your father to come home safely after all he did promise you to train you in the way of the sword once he arrived." She said lifting the boy onto her shoulders as they walked back into the village.

Horizon inside his newly completed base. He had now fully completed it, having just finished implementing the defense systems. Heavy machine guns now lay safely tucked in the folds of the outside base. His new regiment of sentinel drones were now online, prowling around the base killing anything that got to close.
He had also built a swarm of 20 offensive drones that lay in the bay, ready for deployment in case of emergency. Thirdly his miner drones had also began travelling into the ravine as their search for raw materials had brought them there. But it wasn't without trouble. They had encountered more of the Insectoid-serpentine creatures. They called this place their home and fed of the minerals and the mana stones. This made them mortal enemies, and Horizon was sure to eradicate them all. But it was harder than it sounded.
The creatures had a complete underground network of tunnels, which Horizon hadn't fully mapped out yet, and their numbers seemed to be increasing each day.
Horizon figure froze. The insectoid creatures usually attacked from the west meaning this was a new enemy he was facing.
"Launch a stealth probe, get me information on the enemy."
The base complied as a small compartment on the top split open as a black orb was launched into the sky, it immediately went invisible as it travelled towards the enemy.

"Were close" The goblin-orc hybrid shouted to the party in a squeaky voice.
Ghorruk behind him grunted in response, raising a fist into the air, signalling the orcs to halt their approach. The orcs descended from their mounts. Rushing into the enemy was foolish, night was here so they would use the cover of darkness to launch a quick but effective attack.
The orcs moved silently through the forest which was surprising due to their enormous size, unaware that their sneak attack had failed they were being watched. High above in the sky a black sphere hovered staring directly at the hoard.
Suddenly the shamman began sniffing the air. Swerving his head directly at the invisible orb. He could see it. He grunted raising his staff launching a ball of green energy at the orb, causing it to explode violently.
"We've been discovered." He said.
The orcs grunted, they were sure there was no presence around them so how were they found out.
"The enemy used some type of golem to scout our forces, i destroyed it but the enemy already knows out location." He said.
"So what we advance, we can't retreat now if we do the we give the enemy more time to prepare." Ghorruk said in a loud voice.
The orcs cheered, the didn't believe in running from a fight, whatever fight it was they would take it head on. And so The orcs continued marching forward heading towards their death.
