Ash's mouth twitched. "Well… at least I got the black item. Otherwise, this would've been a total loss. System, redeem three more spins for me!"

According to the system's probability rates, pulling a black item out of only five spins was already above average.

Ding~!

"Three spins redeemed. 1,500 Attribute Points deducted. Remaining Attribute Points: 30,000."

"Alright—keep it going!" Ash knew the rules well: five free spins per week, with additional spins costing 500 points each. It wasn't cheap, but compared to the value of certain rewards, it wasn't exactly a scam either.

And this time, the golden reward was Moon Step, one of the Navy Six Styles. There was no way he'd let such an opportunity slip by. Who knew if it would ever appear again?

Ash frowned. "Tch… fine. I'm redeeming ten more spins!"

Ding~!

[Ten spins redeemed. 5,000 Attribute Points deducted. Remaining Attribute Points: 25,000.]

"If I miss out now, then my luck really is garbage. Let's go!"

His heart ached—this was the largest chunk of Attribute Points he'd ever spent in one go.

Ash let out a long breath. "That was close… I was just about ready to redeem more spins. Good thing it landed." Relief washed over him, though his nerves were still buzzing.

"System, when I got Shave from the Navy Six Styles before, it was marked as a black item. Why is Moon Step considered gold?"

Ding~!

[There is no inherent difference between black and gold items in rarity. The classification is based on usefulness. Shave is primarily a ground-based acceleration technique, while Moon Step allows midair movement, offering greater versatility. The system judges Moon Step to have higher overall value.]

Ash thought about it for a moment and had to admit the system was right. Both were speed techniques, but one kept him on the ground, while the other gave him free mobility in the air. The difference was enormous.

"You're up early today. I figured you'd be sleeping in until noon," came Sabrina's voice suddenly, snapping him out of his thoughts.

Ash turned around at the sound of the voice and saw Sabrina standing there in a sharp office-lady outfit.

For some reason, she seemed to favor this style of clothing—and with her tall, graceful figure, the form-fitting design showed off every curve perfectly.

"Don't get the wrong idea," Ash said with a wry smile. "Even if I did have certain thoughts, this isn't my place. And I'm pretty sure Cynthia wouldn't agree anyway."

He'd be lying if he said he wasn't impressed, but Ash had been around plenty of beautiful women by now and didn't let it show too much.

"By the way, aren't you hot wearing that?" Ash asked, glancing at her attire. "It's summer, you know. It might look comfortable, but moving around in it can't be easy."

Sabrina gave a faint, knowing smile. "I'm used to it. Besides… you like it, don't you? Don't think I didn't notice you staring at me for at least three or four minutes last time. That's just how a man's heart works."

Ash raised a hand in mock oath. "Hey, you're mixing two things together here. I'll admit, the outfit's eye-catching—any guy would look twice. But that doesn't mean I 'like' it in that way. You're about my age, sure, and… yeah, you're more developed than most, but your overall vibe still feels a little off."

Sabrina just gave a small, dismissive "Hmph," tucking her long purple hair behind her ear with an elegant motion. The way she did it almost made Ash's self-control crack—especially after last night. Between Cynthia's company and… well, other close calls, his composure was already running low.

"Hey, Suzie!" Ash quickly changed the subject, glancing around for her. Last night, Suzie and Sabrina had shared a room, and Sabrina had even taken Pikachu with her. Without the little guy on his shoulder, Ash felt strangely empty.

"She's washing up," Sabrina replied, glancing toward the hallway. "As for Pikachu, he's with Suzie and Cynthia."

Ash coughed twice, looking away from her probing gaze. "Still asleep… I'd rather not get into the details, but let's just say Cynthia's better off getting more rest." He definitely wasn't going to admit that things had almost gone a little too far last night.

Sabrina arched a brow at him. Traveling together with Ash and the others had clearly changed her—at the very least, she wasn't the silent, distant psychic she used to be.
