Chapter 51 - Chapter 51: Struck by a Thunderbolt!

Seeing Bill's expression, Ash had a tic on his forehead and said, "Come on, Grandpa Bill, don't joke like that. Who would like that kind of girl?"

"She's the youngest daughter of the Yoto family in the Sinnoh region. We had a bit of a spat not long ago, and now she's been trailing me everywhere like a lost puppy."

"Who's following you? You're not the only one who can come here! Ugh, so annoying!" The quiet Giselle on the side finally snapped at Ash's comment.

"Dr. Bill, hello. I'm Giselle Yoto of the Yoto family. I'm terribly sorry to intrude this time!" After snapping at Ash, Giselle turned into the very image of a refined lady as she introduced herself to Dr. Bill.

Ash and Brock's eyes popped open, clearly shocked.

"That's the annoying Giselle? Did someone replace her with a clone?"

"That has to be her. I just didn't think she had this side to her... I guess that saying's true: all women are born actresses."

"Hmph~~~ You jerks!" Giselle, cheeks puffed out and forehead twitching, clenched her right fist tightly as if barely restraining her fury.

"So, you're the little lady from the Yoto family. Welcome! You're quite lucky—just in a few days, the Pokémon I've always wanted to meet will be arriving!" Now knowing their identities, Dr. Bill spoke with excitement.

"You mean the Pokémon you mentioned before? The one you've been waiting for all this time? Perfect! I came here to catch it!" Ash grinned confidently. He was determined to capture that giant Dragonite.

From what Dr. Bill described, that Dragonite was likely a super-ancient Pokémon. Its strength was definitely at Legendary-level—though its exact tier was unknown.

Looking at Ash's determined gaze, Dr. Bill appreciated his courage, but still expressed concern. "Ash, are you sure you're ready? This is the largest recorded Pokémon to date!"

"Don't worry. I'm absolutely confident. Come on out, my friends!" Ash replied without hesitation, tossing out all eight of his Poké Balls.

"Even though I've seen the records… seeing it for myself is still breathtaking." Dr. Bill stared in awe at the powerful Pokémon before him. His gaze stopped on Suicune—after all, a Legendary Pokémon isn't something one gets to see every day!

"Awooo~" Feeling uncomfortable under the intense stare, Suicune let out a soft cry.

"Ban?" Tyranitar glanced at Ash in confusion. There wasn't a battle—so why were they all summoned?

"My partners, I'm planning to train you seriously for the next few days. A powerful opponent is on the horizon—one whose strength rivals Suicune's. I plan to catch it. This is also a great opportunity for you to solidify your Champion-level strength!"

Hearing Ash's words, his Pokémon howled with excitement. Except for Pikachu, Arcanine, and Suicune, the rest of his team were all extremely battle-hungry.

Especially Tyranitar and Scyther—those two were so eager to fight that it gave Ash a constant headache. Every time they were let out, they tried to challenge Suicune, and though they always lost miserably, Tyranitar was weirdly happy about it.

As for Scyther, he was currently the lowest-leveled Pokémon on Ash's team. Still, Ash wasn't worried. The main reason Scyther hadn't reached the Champion level was because Ash still didn't have a Metal Coat. Once he got it, Scyther would evolve into Scizor and likely break through immediately!

"The Skill Disk only has ten uses total, and I've already used it twice… I have to save the rest for the most crucial moments." Ash sighed as he thought about the Skill Disk stored in his ring's spatial inventory. He'd thought he hit the jackpot when he found it, only to realize it had a limited number of uses.

Still, he had no regrets. The way he used it so far was correct. And right now, what he needed was one more powerful Pokémon—to showcase his strength to the world.

"So this is Suicune? Incredible… I never thought I'd witness a Legendary Pokémon in my lifetime!" Unlike Ash's calm demeanor, Dr. Bill was busy running around with a camera, snapping photos of Suicune from every angle.

Once he was finally satisfied, Dr. Bill turned back to Ash. "Ash, what's the story with Suicune? Ogi—er, Professor Oak—should've heard about this. He wouldn't just let you walk away with it. From what I know, he'd be begging you to let him study it."

"You're not wrong. It took me a long time to get Suicune to stay with me. I plan to bring it to Grandpa Oak for research once the Indigo League ends," Ash replied with a sigh, remembering how Professor Oak had been blowing up his phone, asking to borrow Suicune for study. The mere thought made Ash's scalp go numb.

"Suicune?! You— You actually managed to gain the recognition of a Legendary Pokémon?!"

Unlike Dr. Bill, who was simply satisfied snapping photos from every angle, Giselle was in complete chaos internally. She stared in disbelief—Ash not only had several Champion-level Pokémon, but even a Legendary?

Giselle understood well what those two titles meant. Champion-level Pokémon represented the peak of a family's strength, but Legendary Pokémon? They stood for power and prestige. Having one wasn't just rare—it was practically impossible.

"Hmph! A spoiled brat like you wouldn't understand."

Ash glanced at her with disdain, arms crossed proudly. His tone dripped with arrogance. Honestly, when he wasn't in battle mode or activating his Aura, Ash's cocky side came through loud and clear.

"You call yourself a gentleman, but you've got no manners whatsoever!" Giselle snapped back, her voice sharp with irritation. If it wasn't for the memory of Ash's overwhelming power earlier, she probably would've punched him right there and then.

Ash gave her a sideways glance, his eyes lingering—not so subtly—on her slightly underdeveloped chest. "Depends on who we're talking about. But you? Heh~~"

"You jerk!" Giselle turned bright red, instantly realizing where his eyes had stopped. "I-I'm still growing! In a few years, I'll be way more developed, so don't go looking down on people like that!"

Like any girl, she cared deeply about her figure. And Ash's bluntness? It was like stabbing her with a Thunderbolt.
