"ETHAN!" Princess Isabella shouted from the top of the hill, cutting through the roar of battle.
Upon hearing her voice, Ethan didn't waste a single moment. He took a colossal leap that cracked the ground beneath his feet, soaring into the air and coming down upon the Prince of the Blue Phoenix with all the fury bottled up inside him. His eyes, previously golden from his aura turned an absolute deep black.
"SUNSET!" Ethan bellowed.
The sword strike tore through the atmosphere, and time seemed to come to a complete standstill in the Prince's world. Paralyzed by visceral terror, the heir of the Blue Phoenix watched with wide eyes as the merciless wave of dark energy surged directly toward his neck, unable to move a single muscle.
In the distance, the Southern General observed the scene and let out a soft chuckle.
"Well now..." the Southern General said, adjusting his trident. "Seems the kid held back against me. That strike could have hurt my hand, hehehe."
